    in Germany and England the opinion of Pulisic is very different to that held by most Americans. Most English folks feel we signed the wrong player from Dortmund and we should have signed Sancho. Most Germans rate Sancho as being better than Pulisic.

    Good marketing move by Chelsea Football Club
    There will be millions of new Chelsea fans in the USA, just because Pulisic has signed.

    I am very sorry that Pulisic will spend next season mainly on our bench and then he will go out on loan.

    and still not actually bringing any talk of ability, positioning, skill or...you know....footballing related aspects in to the conversation. but i'm glad you name dropped that you have German friends.

    and also ignored that pulisic had expressed that he wouldn't want to transfer to munich from dortmund, and wants to play in the premier league.

    Just saying, that opinion in Europe about Pulisic is very very different. He is considered to be overrated and over priced. He lacks a lot especially in the final third.

    Ask any Dortmund fan. . .

    Look, I rate Sancho more than I rate Pulisic, but your comparison is garbage. Sancho starts. Pulisic doesn't. There are far greater metrics to use that would likely make your point.

    This is fun trying to see what this kerfuffle is about.

    Pulisic v. Sancho? USA v. England? Apples v. Oranges? Established 20 year old v. Hot new 18 year old?

    Am I close? One of these guys is already signed for Chelsea, so there's that. If Chelsea wanted Sancho, we would've tried to go for Sancho.

    Er, Sancho starts because he is considered to be the better player maybe?
    My friends in Dortmund think so.

    The vast majority of Chelsea fans in London feel that we should have signed Sancho, who is also a close friend of CHO btw. There is a low opinion of Pulisic in London. But if the yanks buy the merchandise and achieve some strategic marketing in the USA then the club will be happy.

    I understand that this is not the consensus on this message board. I apologise for having an opinion that is contrary to the majority of Chelsea fans on this message board

    Folks, it's completely fine to discuss Sancho vs Pulisic, but can we leave personal attacks and Nationality of players and fans as a mean to troll out of this thread? Please.

    I believe Pulisic will surprise some of you.

    Regrading BM. They're not in the habit of paying $70M for players and there's no indication that Pulisic has any desire to join BM.

    Chelsea have agreed personal terms with Argentina midfielder Leandro Paredes, 24, and have submitted a £27m offer to Zenit St Petersburg.

    Some metrics for y'all. . .

    Paredes scored 15 goals and set up 10 more in 61 appearances for Zenit, who he joined in 2017 from Roma for an initial £21m.

    CHO has had an offer on the table for awhile. His agent is using it to shop him around and to get Chelsea to increase their offer. That's the game behind the game.

    Just read that De Jong might be finishing up a deal to join PSG from Ajax in the summer, 67 million pounds being the quoted figure.
