I'm hoping "Ojitos" Meza sends Pachuca Juniors over there. It would suck for the senior Pachuca squad to risk injury over this shit competition.
So within a few years and a bit of tweaking the Superliga will be just as prestigious as the Copa Libertadores? La Sudamericana? or La Copa Tecate? I seriously thing Mexican teams should take this trouney as a pre-season tourney and play some of their bench players. I think it would be a good experience for them, I mean reserve players playing against MLS team that are in pretty good form can only benefit cantera/reserve players all the while MLS fans can think that they are bridging the gap.
If those games played on crappy fields, crappy atmospheres on half empty 20k stadia, teams on pre-season form were among the best some of those people have seen I really don't want to know how bad the average MLS game is.
I was reading the those spazzos comments with the voice of this kid in my head.
the funniest post is the one almost comparing it to the world cup they actually think our teams took it seriously didn't Pachuca debut a 16yr old during the super liga?
I almost forgot about this... Wow....the MLS teams are crappy. Geez....Pachuca and Santos in the same group? lol rightaway 2 MLS teams gone. The other group blows. I say Chivas and D.C. advance. This tourney only has 2 good teams...Pachuca and Santos...and they are in the same group lol.
What a Waste I. SuperLiga: Is neither Super nor a "Liga" Why call it "Super?" I can think of better more truthful titles such as: a. The Unpleasant Liga b. The Offensive Liga c. The Very Bad Quality Liga Definition of Super Liga in the Mexican dictionary: Practice. Now the definition of practice in an American dictionary is as follows: as an intransitive verb: 1. to do something repeatedly in order to learn or acquire proficiency; exercise or drill oneself to practice on the organ 2. to put knowledge into practice; work at or follow a profession, as medicine, law, futbol etc. 3. to have to play in a crappy tournament that if won reaps no benefits because everyone will say "well, look who you had to play to win it..." 4. to do something that does not count. Even current Denver Nugget Allen Iverson agrees with my point of view: Check it OUT! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGDBR2L5kzI __________________
Someone should have bumped the "Is MLS closing the gap thread" from last year. I meant to do it after the Concacaf Cup but I completely forgot. Watch them get all happy if one of their teams wins it. "Oh we are closing the gap" bla bla bla LIke the same sh*t they did last year.
Not just that but we will also have to deal with threads complaining that Mexican teams don't buy any of their crappy players.
They hate Chivas the most because we play with only mexicans I've read post where some say it's racist...
not only racist but we are now xenophobic's what pisses me off is if they lose ¨oh we are closing the gap¨ and if they win ¨oh we are on par with you guys¨. when will these fools understand that they are not on our level! oh well hopefully our u-23 win it all so i can laugh even more in there face.
just subscribed to this thread should be good The New England Revolution are competing in this years SuperLiga, and I was wondering if anyone knew any good anti-mexico chants that we could use against the Mexican teams. Thanks
