Gotta approach it on a match by match basis my dude. The hours blow for us on the West Coast, especially during the work week. But for the big matches, I will find a way. I know you will too. Vamos! I'm excited, many of these teams are more complete than 4 years ago. Should have some classic matches ahead.
In my case, I think Ronaldo is now old, and he doesn't have a team behind him to make up for what he can't do anymore. In Madrid, he's surrounded by the very best, not with Portugal. As for Messi, I am never impressed by what he does with his national team. Argentina as a whole is a joke. They have mass of quality players, and always disappoint. Also: Higuain. Messi will never win anything with Higuain as a teammates.
Messi also had his share in screweing Argentina's hopes for a title. Any way last World Cup they could reach the final with a solid defensive approach. I wonder if they can go far with Sampaoli.

adidas did a good job with some of the retro jerseys, namely Spain, Colombia, Germany and Belgium. Russia does not inspire CCCP to me. Then, the rest of the adidas kit seemed so plain, but Iran and Morocco do not deserve to be in the botton of the ranking. They are simply plain adidas red jersey. https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/wo...-best-and-worst-uniforms-showcased-in-russia/
I would say the timings are worse for us on the east coast. I'll get up early to watch a game before heading to work. What I hate is when a big game is played during work hours, and that's the case for pretty much all the games. No luck either as July 4th falls on an off-day. The worst is July 6th.
I was thinking about the same thing the other day. If I can manage to wake up early which will be hard the first couple of days I can watch pretty much all of the 5 AM kickoffs. Most of the "big" group stage games are at 11AM here so for those i'll have to make some arrangement. Spain - Portugal on Friday 11AM kickoff which is gonna be lit and then the weekend is obviously lit. I can't lie I am getting a bit hyped about this tournament now. I want to watch France - Australia but that's a 3AM kickoff on Saturday which can be done but I don't know if i'll be able to when the lure of waking up at 6AM instead for Argentina - Iceland is too strong. Why can't they just have the WC here in the US every 8 years. It's the best place for it anyway. Everybody knows this.
Apparently Rodri and our boy Jesus Vallejo will travel to Russia with the Spain squad as reserves. Will be a great experience for the future. 1004316051587420162 is not a valid tweet id

I'm really excited about this world cup. That last one didn't do it for me; wasn't excited for the build up and it didn't even feel like a world cup during the tournament. This one has many big characters, young up incoming players and great early match ups. I am excite.
In terms of great early matchups, I think this WC falls a bit flat. There's just Spain x Portugal & Croatia x Argentina. Last WC had more than that in the first 3 days alone. But I'm still pumped....
