Ever since Flamengo made a coaching change, Cuellar has not started. He was fantastic in the state tournament and was one of the best in the first few matches of the league. Shame...

 

Brazilians prefer domestic players. Maybe he can come back to Colombia and replace Meija at Nacional. I think he is better then Torres, Celis or Perez

 

Sip, ha sido suplente en los ultimos partidos, ingresando de repente en los segundos tiempos, pero Flamengo de los ultimos 10 partidos solo ha ganado 3 y empatado 1, es cuestion de tiempo para que recupere la titularidad.

 

Per usual, Cuellar only played the last few minutes. BUT he put in a beauty of an assist (min 1:30).

 

Started today for the first time in a LONG time. He was decent. Put in a few tackles. Super accurate passing. Hopefully the coach sticks with him

Starting again tonight. This time in Sudamericana. Entertaining match so far

Aaaand they took him off for Diego to try to push for goal.

The guy is not playing with the dynamism he had in Colombia. Kind of like Perez and, for a while, Barrios with Boca. Just want to play as straight and disciplined as possible to earn more minutes.

 

Another start for him today. He played a really strong 2nd half when he was alone in the central mid.

 

We need him back !!! Think he is much better then Perez or Torres.

 

The way he's playing for Flamengo these days he should be competing with Barrios or Sanchez

 

is sub in Spain and lost his start spot in national team because of bad performances ...

 

It is difficult to get out of my head the mistake he did against Ecuador that led to their goal in Barranquilla.

That said,if he continues to play will in Brazil I would like to see how he looks. Maybe in November in a Friendly assuming we qualify before that month.

 

If he continue underperforming like he is playing ...isn't fine and we need to look for options .

 

Cuellar played the full 90' in Flamengo's 5-2 Sudamericana win over Palestino. That's 3 starts in a row for him. I'll try to cut a highlight video
