My hope is he just found whatever team he could because his passport wasn't done in time for this transfer window and moves to another team next transfer window when it goes through.

The renaming of this thread instead of starting a new one says it all, sadly.

If you search back on the Memo posts since he went to Europe this exact comment keeps coming up.:laugh::laugh: And he keeps going to third-tier teams.

Maybe it's time to accept he's just cursed.

Im starting to doubt my own faith in Le Mem..... Real talk though there have been top top teams (particularly in ENG) that come to mind that have had mediocre and I mean mediocre GK. The only thing that rustles my feathers is that even if Ochoa isn't as good as I have believed my whole life there is no way or reason he can't play for a mid table to higher level team in a really good league. If those dudes did it then he totally can have that opportunity too

Memo should keep doing his thing and don't listen to all the noise. Belgium is producing the world's best attacking talent the last few years so he will be challenged.

Also, what an example he sets for other players in Liga MX. Instead of crawling back to Mexico he has the guts and heart to continue his European journey. What an example for other players!

Ochoa: There's a Christmas tree somewhere in London with a bunch of presents underneath it that'll never be opened. And I thought, if I survive all of this, I'd go to that house, apologize to the mother there, and accept whatever punishment she chose for me. Prison... death... didn't matter. Because at least in prison and at least in death, you know, I wouldn't be in fackin' Bruges. But then, like a flash, it came to me. And I realized, fack man, maybe that's what hell is: the entire rest of eternity spent in fackin' Bruges. And I really really hoped I wouldn't die. I really really hoped I wouldn't die.

The positive thing about all of this is with a team like standard liege he wont be the most scored on goal-keeper in the league, might even turn out to be the least goleado. The great Memo breaking records.
