I'm not sure the subtle difference here. Doesn't his poor performance contribute to the fact Ivanschitz is a better player? I don't mean any disrespect to Guatemala. They won the game when the USA wouldn't and couldn't. But even a Guatemala supporter has to know that a team that is starting a 36-year-old striker is struggling to find talent. And if Pappa isn't one of the best players on that team I'd be shocked, but I defer to you as someone who knows better.
