Great game by Guardado, he was all over the place. Lafita and Ze Castro had very good game as well.

Bravo was left out because Lotina said he doesn't think he(Bravo) is comfortable in the single striker position. I still don't understand why he doesn't switch to a two striker set up.

 

Bravo's start is really reminding me of Kikin Fonseca.

 

He has good speed, but not Messi type speed where he can create his own plays against 3 defenders and he's not tall enough to receive centros and have good looks to the goal. Would be nice to go to another team, but what has he show to make other teams want him? The good thing is he'll definitely get some more playing time since they're playing in multiple tourneys.

 

Because Depor's defense absolutely sucks and they can only afford to have ONE striker

Please don't start making excuses now people. Bravo's come very close to scoring many times this season in this role- but it just hasn't fallen into place for him yet.

It doesn't mean he's a failure either, he's the same player he's always been- nothing more, nothing less.

 

Agreed. Hope he's able to convert one of those chances soon. Perfect scenario: scoring on a cross from Guadardo.

Well the coach is not helping the cause either. Players need minutes to adapt and he hasn't been playing him at all. Has he played a lot in the UEFA Cup?
