wow, that is a tough group for us. I mean the only team here where we have a better record against is Malta and maybe now we can beat Hungary and just maybe Sweden but Denmark and Portugal! Come on now. Im seeing a shadow in Albanias qualifiers for this world cup, way too tough this time.
Its a hard ass group for us, but theres always surprizes in sports. A bunch of new young players should be ready to play too.
On March there is talk of playing Azerbaijan but we just got a new coach so it will be up to him wether he wants that or not but the february window is still open. We are very likely to find out about the february window in two weeks or so when Arie Haan comes to Albania January 3rd.
Azerbaijan have scheduled a match against on Lithuania on 26 March , the only FIFA match date in March. I think you have to look for another team.
Yeah Hungary will definitely be tough and Malta tied Turkey at home so we may even be looking at last place which would be a disaster of epic proportions.
I think we gonna do better. We gave hard time to some good teams in euro 2008 quailifiers. At least 3rd place
