There was this pocho DJ going on about how better the US has done than Mexico for the past 20 years. It was infuriating because Mexico has gotten way more silverware than they have during that period.
and here I thought sports was about performing at the highest level and seeing who came out on top...
Much like when some people around BSMX get so invested in the US failing, they have people on their side that do the same. After all the San Zusi and "you're welcome" talk, they're facing the possibility of going home after Thursday's game. This is why winning the HEX means absolutely nothing.
Don't know if this has already been posted but Portugal ties the game and all of a sudden stoppage time becomes an issue http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/24/s...icmst=1388552400000&bicmet=1420088400000&_r=4
This crap I expect from the NY post not the Times. That's a shame. Just another writer that doesn't understand how "Sawker" works.
A bunch of subs (30 secs each), a couple of "injuries" to two US players & the yanks celebrating the go ahead goal for ages and we're going to act like 5 minutes was unfair?
Hmm, a Journalist who is obviously ignorant to the subject is not afraid to write about it. Why? Because He's assuming his readers are also ignorant about it. He assumes the reader is a "typical american" who knows jack shit about the sport. Thats why he has the nerve to talk out of his ass. The red flag is When they start comparing Soccer to sports only played in the US. Yea, that shit needs to stop.
didn't read the article because i know its BS, but does the article mention how the US advance in 2010 because of a goal in stoppage time?
LOL what!? The first goal was class I'm not gonna lie. He's been good too, but "one of the best in the tourney? These people are delusional. And not because Dempsey couldn't be one of the best, but because the best strikers in this tourney have been so much better than what Dempsey has shown.
Repost noob? Why Soccer is Un-American http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2014/06/why-soccer-is-un-american-107793.html#.U6sR0-X05ok
what does this mean? "Soccer thus appeals to the pessimist, the person who wagers that it is better to avoid disappointment than to demand too much joy. In other words, foreigners."
