Finished 2-1 and not subbed off, but that review doesn't sound promising: http://us.soccerway.com/matches/201...tlas-de-guadalajara/2038718/?ICID=HP_MS_01_08
Good thing Shea's back in full-form. I think he's going to be the missing piece right now that will open up our attack.
Greg Garza, still recovering from hip surgery in September, returns to Tijuana from his loan to Atlas: https://t.co/EoxjXxFmVZ #USMNT— Roderick MacNeil (@rodmacneil) December 10, 2015
I want to see Villafana, but I don't know if it happens. I think the Liga MX transfer may open Jurgens eyes.
Seems Xolos had a ceremony today to welcome their new players and I guess players returning from loans are included: @bungadiri @Friedel'sAccent -- Let's change the time back to Greg Garza at Tijuana.
Garza is back in field training, not sure how far from a full return he is: https://www.instagram.com/p/BA8UFVeJ2F9/
Returned to the pitch with the U20 match: United States National Team player Gregory Garza made his return to the field after being out eight months with a hip injury. Garza came on soon after Tanko’s goal. He substituted Jesus Enriquez on the left flank. He spent the rest of the match sprinting up and down the sideline, distributing balls up field while dropping back to help stifle the Puebla attack and keep the shutout. “It felt very special to me,” Garza said about his return. “But the most important thing is to be back with the group. It’s a game of patience, it took a long time to get back on the field but to get back on the field and be one of the players is very special to me.”
http://www.xolos.com.mx/en/news/xoloitzcuintles/3777/club-tijuana-official-release.html Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles officially announces that all the players on the current roster are eligible for transfer for the upcoming LIGA MX 2016 Clausura season.
Starts for Tijuana tonight in a friendly against Santos in Sandy, Utah: Club Tijuana starting XI vs. @ClubSantosEn: Vilar; Nuñez, Valenzuela, Aguilera, Garza; Medina, Rodriguez, Arriola, Hauche, Hurtado, Caraglio— Xolos (@xolos_en) June 25, 2016
The reports of his death must have been greatly exaggerated. He started the LigaMX opener for Tijuana, who defeated Morelia 2-0. Garza came off in the 68th minute. Note: No other Tijuanamericans appeared in the match. Arriola and Orozco remained on the bench.
He didn't look great besides the own goal either. Involved in allowing the second, and a little rusty overall. Then he got hurt and knew it right away. It wasn't non-contact but it was on a tackle he made and from his reaction I wonder if it wasn't his hip again. Stretchered off.
.@gmgarza24 returned to action Monday after a left ankle injury kept him out last week. Glad you're back. #GoXolos pic.twitter.com/BBEs9Q1MLL— Xolos (@xolos_en) August 23, 2016
Greg appears in a new documentary, Club Frontera, about Xolos that is on the film festival circuit right now. Lots of Tijuanimericans appear as well.
Garza eyes MLS move as he sets sights on U.S. national team return http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/1110...al-team?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter The Club Tijuana defender has just begun preseason with the Xolos, but he has the club's blessing to secure a move to MLS this winter. The Columbus Crew currently have MLS discovery rights to Garza, but sources tell Goal USA the Crew do not intend to sign him. Several other MLS teams are already expressing interest though, making a move back home look like a good bet for the Texas native.
