If Gold Cup could be qualifying for World Cup?

If you look at youth's championships in CONCACAF, you see the under 17's and the under 21's chanmpionships are qualifying for World's championships in their respective categories. And this applies for other continents.

So what about A teams? What about Gold Cup? Imagine that Gold Cup 2013 will be qualifying for 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

The different qualified teams from each continent would be like that :

Gold Cup (CONCACAF) : 4 qualified teams
Copa America (CONMEBOL) : 5 qualified teams
European Nations Championship (UEFA) : 12 qualified teams
African Nations Cup (CAF) : 6 qualified teams
Asian Nations Cup (ACF) : 4 qualified teams
Oceania Nations Cup (OCF) : 1 qualified team

In total we got : 32 qualified teams for World Cup

I think that Gold Cup plays every 4 years and which is qualifying for World Cup could be more interesting for everybody. Gold Cup will play with only countries from CONCACAF. All teams will come with their best players. And they will be obliged to incorporate Guadeloupe to FIFA.

Other idea! Gold Cup plays every 2 years. For example, Gold Cup 2011 will be qualifying for Confederations Cup 2013 and Gold Cup 2013 will be for World Cup 2014.

Yeah I am not really feeling that idea. The gold cup is our zone's championship. That should be separate from qualifying

Don't forget the ownage over Nicaragua 2-0 that included a shady penalty or the penalty shoot out after the tie with costa rica. They owned everybody alright.
