Um...yea we'll march from the tailgate. Giants Stadium is surrounded by a lagoon of parking spaces. There are no bars, I believe, near the stadium. Last summer during the Argentina game one of the dumpsters and porto-johns burned down because someone poured hot coals in there.
FYI, this link will be valid till 5pm Friday, after which it's a free-for-all. So, if you are waiting to see if we win on Thursday night, okay, just be johnny-on-the-spot with the CC once the whistle blows, or else you could be sitting in little Tijuana.
if anybody needs an extra gold cup final ticket in the US supporters section (101), ive got an extra. we can meet up in the lot before the game
ive gone there before and would agree. despite the Sheraton's scenic location overlooking highways and swamps, the bar attempts to be a bit high end. its the closest place to drink though. if you go there and want to walk to Giants Stadium just be warned, while the distance is pretty short, its not the kind of trek in which you could "march in". the hotel and stadium are surrounded by highways of various sizes.
My friend and I just got two tix in the supporters section... anything we need to know before going? It'll be my first time in 101...
