You're right but TBH the Chivas players haven't done that great either, except for Pizarro. A lot more skilled than the Tigres players but they've underperformed. Never been a fan of NTs that are heavily based on who's the strongest team in the league. Only time that has worked was with America in the 2014 qualifiers and with Pachuca a few years back.

Elias chose the worse time to have his worst game. Insane his miss with that Dueñas find him wide open. Just as bad was Orbelin with that wide open shot. I'm sorry but Edson at RB looked a lot better than natural RB Rodriguez. I think Molina coming out was kind of game changing. That and Pizarro dropping his level in the 2nd half. Mexico improved somewhat and the 1st half was the best they played in the tournament along with the ES game but they need to improve against Jamaica and hope that Molina is alright for that game.
