Oh great...mofo can't learn to speak spanish with his teammates and the press but like Fatzard, isco, and Marshmallow, he has found a liking to restaurant food. That he can learn!

He has a massive opportunity. Even with Eden now on the team, he can become the team superstar he always wanted to be. He has to stay focused and stop pointing fingers.

He can have his best season as a Madrid player this year and i have a feeling that he will

Bale is not even one of the four captains. Weird Varane gives it to him when he's senior at RM and one of the captains. Pennant should be with Benz when Ramos is not available. Shows lack of leadership overall without Ramos.

 

Is Carvajal one of the 4?

Ramos, Marcelo, Benz and Varane. Criteria is seniority at the club. Both captain and vice captain (Marcelo) were unavailable so that probably caused the whole confusion. Varane should have handed to Benz as he's the captain who has to exchange pennant with opposition captain.

 

The captains were behind on the pic so they could not hold it and the pennant be seen.
Holding a pennant for a team photo should not be a big deal..see how Carvajal handled the situation.

Because he was simply passing it to one of the guys who was in front and Bale happened to be in the middle . Varane was already positioned at the back. There is nothing else to this or Varane not knowing what to do.. he just said here i am back here and the pennant is not visible you hold it..

 

There was plenty to be angry about when it came to Bale last year even though I think the situation was more complicated than people thought. I think it was way more complex than the current Courtouis conundrum we currently have.

I have to agree this pennant thing is nothing but bologna news that wouldn't see the light of day if we were winning. I always wondered what the players did with those pennants anyway. They looks so cheesy.
