This is probably a whole new thread, honestly:

    - "Played like men"
    - "X was spaced out a few feet but it was still a 4-2-3-1"
    - Randomly compliments CJ's work rate/physicality/hold up play, ex: "any time you have to defend CJ you're going to hurt the next day"

He is able to manipulate time an space so that even though the midfield triangle appears to have flipped, your eyes are deceiving you and they're playing the same formation.

    "It's a tough place to come "

NSS - look at their road record - everywhere was a tough place to come.

"We said at the start of three seasons ago that we really wanted to make PPL Park a fortress- what? Talen? Huh. Anyway, I thought the guys played like men tonight in a very flexible, 4-2-3-1-like fashion. Credit to Andre for keeping Dax from heading in that open shot."

Jim has not yet been accused of any inappropriate conduct. What more do you want in a manager?

Jim Curtin keeps plenty of candy in his pockets so NO ONE will be late for a team flight.

I don't think the Union really even aspire at mediocrity anymore. I think they just aspire to exist until such time as Sugarman wants to cash out. This feels like a holding pattern.

This is Curtin's ceiling, and given the money we're willing to spend, I don't see us finishing above 6th or 7th place until new ownership is brought in.

That's pretty much how I see it as well. He bought low and is looking to sell high. Sugar is an absentee owner and only considers it an investment. He probably also looks at the players as a way to make money from transfer fees. Bringing in ES helps him make a profit on those.
