Dude, please do not start this argument again. There are at least 10 threads about this. Do a search of the forum. Rossi has dual Italian/American citizenship. He plays abroad. So he is a Yank Abroad. Not a half-Yank Abroad. I believe Johann has dual citizenship as well, but if you read other threads here, they point to articles where he has expressed an interest to play for the US. Websites can be wrong also.
While TimBoston has touched on it... just check the link in my signature line. The real reason I came into this is because in no way shape or form has Rossi done anything akin to denouncing his US citizenship by preferring to play soccer for Italy.

Here's a brief story on a kid who played a few years on an Israeli youth team while living there: At age 10, Michael Rose was already being groomed to be a professional soccer player. The team captain for the Severna Park High School boys soccer team lived with his family in Israel from 1998-2001 and Rose played with a farm team that was affiliated with the Maccabi Tel Aviv premier league soccer organization, one of the most senior clubs in Israeli soccer.
