NASL brat Anthony Hudson is now a coach and midfielder with the USL Wilmington Hammerheads:

Anthony was born in Seattle, WA but spent most of his life living in England where he played as an apprentice for West Ham United. At the age of 19 Anthony signed a 2 year professional contract with NEC Nijmegen in the Dutch First Division. After returning to the UK, Anthony continued to play semi pro while working as a broker with Lloyds of London.

Anthony's interest turned to coaching, bringing him to the U.S.
He's still only 26 but it seems has already started looking beyond his playing career though he did try out for the Sounders last year.

    Hello!
My name is Lavrentii Aniscenco. I'm ex-general manager of Olimpia (Balti, Moldova) where this season played around 10 players, which have came from USA. I was very surprised when I saw that a lot of people here (in this post -4 Yanks in Moldova - https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=409192) is interesting with things happening in Moldova and finding real information about it.
I read yesterday an arcticle about USA goalkeeper Coliin Burns, who also played in our team. (http://www.yanks-abroad.com/content....e=news&id=2912) Unfortunately we spoke each other only onec, when I was meeting him in airport.... Next day I resigned :) But he is good guy and good player. Yestrday another American ex-player from Olimpia said me that Collin signed contract with English 2nd division team. I would like to learn details.... May be somebody knows?
And maybe somebody can get his e-mail.... I would like to say him some words.

If you are interested I can tell you a lot of ultra- interesting and shocking things about Yanks in Molodvian poorest team :))) But some of them used their chanse to play in Europe at higher level.

I always thought Chivas was an all-Mexican team only?

Was this guy born in Mexico, but now has American Citizenship?

Please excuse my post, I just thought this was interesting.

Are you guys following Gabriel Ferrari? He came up through the Red Bull youth system and is now at Sampdoria. He signed with them in January this year and will be in Italy until 2010. He also plays for the U-20 NT team.

why dont we make a recent list and make it more user friendly, any one want to help me out I did one for colombia here is a link, it just easier to see if we break things down by region and country, also only use Current players.

    something we should have

I'll be the first (well, second...) to admit it needs an update. It's on the to-do list and hopefully I, or someone else, will have something going by the time the fall season starts.

For one, striker Jesus Padilla, it will even be a homecoming. The 20-year-old spent the first 14 years of his life in San Jose before accepting an invitation to join Chivas' development program in Guadalajara rather than attend Del Mar High.

For the record, D.C. United's Nicholas Adderly, who has played in Vietnam and T&T, is American-born.

Hey--I played for Issy-Les-Molineaux France in 1987 after not getting a spot on FC Malakoff...

Was getting nostalgic and was wondering how the old team was doing. Have fond memories of trudging around the Isle-de-France playing the other working class teams sprinkled with talent (not me). Can't remember what division we were but do know that most folks on the team did not make any money (at least I didn't). They seemed to regard me as an interesting sort of American mascot with some skills that were useful in the midfield and occasional defense--started most games but was it was very challenging to click with the Team. Given previous coaching I often found myself horrified to see our key central defenders threading their way blithely up the field--guess they were all Lillian Thuram wannabees!

Any information on the old team most welcome--will follow this thread for information...

This is off-topic, but I haven't been a member long enough to post a brand new thread yet. Does anyone, anywhere, in the entire world, have any idea where John O'Brien is?
