lol, losing a game doesn't mean someone was owned. Nor is Korea scoring because Germany needed to score at all cost at the expense of defense means they were owned. nor is there anything such as a b string in a WC. Go troll somewhere else.
Sad that the nationalist xenophobia has permeated to the National Team. Germany really is becoming more and more like America.....
seriously every tournament Germany plays, gotta have trolls coming in to comment about a team they don't give a crap about.
sounds like a guy with low self-esteem that he cares this much about what fans of other teams says about his team in their own section of the forum. This isn't the Korea section or the general WC board either.
This has also become a moment for the ages. Going to remember this game for a long time. And not in the way I want to.
But what he said is probably true, Kroos is more deep playing midfielder, he need someone more attacking mind to partner him, someone like modric in RM, or Gündogan instead of kedira, and then someone like Rudy or the guy in RM to provide defence for him...I really think sometimes loew overthink too much, if you had Gündogan played gradually better in the previous match, why suddenly bring back kedira? Same as Rüdiger, why change to Sule since Rüdiger has improved a lot when the second game went on?
what's our MVP? A)Reus's knee B)Khedira's corpse C) Mustafi's ghost D) Hummels and Boa's attempt at the Flash E) Our state of the art, 2-0-8 system F)Kroos's misspasses G) Frozen in Time wingers H) Low's nosepicking
So yesterday the times splash on divided squad, anger over DFBs penny pinching with the world cup base etc - but behind paywall Has any german insider article dropped yet?
Peter Neururer new Germany coach http://www.24aktuelles.com/5b34b895...strainer-zuruck-neururer-soll-ubernehmen.html [Sic]
@The Jitty Slitter @Dage @Rosebud Man habe das Thema "nicht ruhig bekommen". https://t.co/kcCAs3tqF0— SPORT1 (@SPORT1) June 29, 2018
Honigstein seems to be presenting a more nuanced view of Germany crashing out There isn't going to be any smoking gun - rather a badly mismanaged campaign I like what Honigsteins said in his YouTube piece also - that Low probably realised alles ist schiefgelaufen but it was too late by spring 2018 to fix it so he hoped the big names could deliver In Honigstein's view he ran a more intelligent experiment with his Confeds Cup tilt where lots of players got a chance but then he never managed to combine this into a new look team, apart from Draxler who he seemed to be way too invested in Other issues appear to be a lack of credible social leaders in the squad. Merte, Schweini and Poldi gone. Khedira with no cred after playing so badly. Mueller ditto. Neuer not really a leader etc But no serious rift in the squad - more a breakdown in communications and general confusion On Germany's broken squad dynamics at the World Cup. https://t.co/eU1uWe0N9U— Raphael Honigstein💙 (@honigstein) June 28, 2018
Interesting german had the most attacks in the group stage and Ozil + Kimmich tied for the most key passes of any player Yet no german forward scored a goal.
Yet the continous bashing of ozil, he puts them (chances) on a plate for the forwards, yet they want to be spoon Fed!, lol
i forgot Reus scored one goal Interesting the only goal from open play comes from a Werner 1:1 take on
There is nothing new there - we knew all this. One would have thought if Bild's "bling bling" theory was correct, that this would have all come pouring out - but the stories we are hearing a quite a bit different to that Germany were awful well before the Erdogan scandal
Basically he said the topic hung around unsettlng things. Khedira - who is considered a confidant of Özil and Gündogan - has now made it clear that the issue burdened the team - but did not directly criticize the people responsible: "But I'm not a crisis manager who says how to deal with it. They didn't settle the topic down, but I do not want to accept that as an excuse for leaving. "
