No, no, no, no, no. Imagine the horror? At least with this one the shirt is just about passable. Imagine something that looks like Portugal's current away shirt?* Ugh. *Guys, no graphic work needed on this one, thanks.
How about going back to Erima? They did some classic designs when were the official outfitter in 1974 and 78.
Switch to Nike? no, no, no. no ... with Nike never, ever, under any circumstances and in any way ... Nike is the epitome of sports commercialism, most of his designs are lazy, for a sample is the crappy shirt that will file with Brazil ... and no doubt that Adidas has flaws but in general terms they have done well. But anyway ... money talks sometimes, but I hope that does not happen when the contract runs out in 2018..
The Portugal black kit with silver accent is one of the best in world for club or country. Sublimation, fit, materials. Something like that tailored to Germany would be incredible. New kit looks and fits like it's from the clearance rack at Walmart.
Any of you have a link or some sort to check out all NT teams current kits. PLS only links to a single site
I have seen this Portugal´s black kit in person and the truth ... do not know why so excited about this ... is pretty average. And indeed the color black was initially imposed as fashion for the national teams by Adidas, not Nike. But for that there are personal tastes, some will love and others will hate it ... there is no absolute truth in matters of design.
Here are two: http://www.footyheadlines.com/ http://todosobrecamisetas.blogspot.mx/ and here is one of design football shirts: http://www.designfootball.com/
Why we couldn't have this is beyond me! Looks much better, colors are more distinct and have actual relevance to Germany, and BLACK SHORTS!
The obvious use of the flag colors doesn't really look good. It's too literal. To be honest, I don't have a problem with this kit. It's not obnoxiously horrible which is fine with me. I don't really care what they wear. I just want them to win.
From what I can gather, the all-white kit is a DFB interpretation of a FIFA edict: teams have to have a "predominantly light" or "predominantly light" outfit. Maybe this is for those remote parts of the world where they have black and white televisions. Or something.
They got the shorts all wrong! Brazil's most popular teams are Corinthians and Flamengo. Germany failed to get the tribute to them correctly. It should go with white shorts for its away kit! Corinthians: Flamengo: There is enough time to fix it!
Just went to the Adidas store in Chicago. They're loaded with DFB gear. I know a few are around here so if you're interested in anything let me know and I'll tell you if they have it or not. I bought the jersey and training top.
I would be interested to see pictures! I will be receiving the authentic model in the mail within the next few days.
