and he scored in that 1 1BL game.

yup pretty much, pro contracts as of now are being given away like candy it's BS. Even more so since Bayern want to spend in the Summer transfer. And buying of Davies is also another move that shows that the Academy kids are not a priority. More like mass injuries and you'll get a shot on the bench and be unused. Guy wasted 3 years in II before moving to 2BL this Summer.

a club like Bayern really need to figure out some loan plans. It's a bit better this season with the Austrian Friedl, Fein and Tillman on loan.

99 RB Kevin Goden who made his pro debut this season is now making his 1st career XI for FCN as they take on Bayer.

Havertz scores his 4th of the season to make it 1-0. What a cold chip from him.

Goden has some blame for the goal, although Kubo is also to blame for allowing Goden's pass to be intercepted.

Wasn't he a bit of a raumdeuter there? Open space, unmarked, and where the ball eventually came (although a lucky deflection)?

it's not a deflection it's a very poor clearance from the GK. Its more like Volland/Brandt were attacking on ahead.

he's a midfielder, it's why he was positioned there.

-Overall Goden wasn't too bad but he needs to work on his speed when he comeback to defend and on his positioning. The very poor weather didn't help him on his XI debut. Played the full game in a 1-1 draw.
-speaking of the next U21 cycle for 98-99 group. The 2021 U21 Euro will be hosted by Hungary/Slovenia. Qualification draws for group is December 11.
-looks like 99 LB Sascha Hartel is in contention for a 3rd Liga Winter loan.

    Dutch 2nd division
-Arweiler had his 1st assist of the season for Utrecht II in a 1-1 draw.
-looks like Marlon Frey might have injured himself as he was subbed out in the 25 minute in a 5-1 win for PSV II.

damn, top 30 for Ballon D'Or had 0 Germans in there while being filled with Frenchies and a decent amount of Spaniards/Uruguayans and Brazilians. Even the Belge had a decent amount.

the topic of yesterday about elite talent production is still in play though. Is our future player pool, comprised of some elite talents or is that not the case and we'll end up with great players at the max.

even 1BL is filled with French youth players and there is more interest from clubs to buy more French. Shows that the French seem to be unmatched in their production. There are French players in mass all over Europe.

the fact that he wasn't even nominated for the U21 Ballon D'Or is funny though. That's one trophy that has 0 weight though as youth prospects can easily not pan out.

    Testroet talks.

on his goal he scored vs Jahn Regensburg.
"At least 70 percent of the credit goes to Florian Krüger. That's what makes him outstanding - how he passed through and crossed. I really only needed to push in."

On his striker partner, seems to be advocating for Kruger.
The question before the games is who storms next to Testroet. Sören Bertram, Dimitrij Nazarov, Emmanuel Iyoha and Krüger were his strike partners. The latter put Testroet not only the goal against Regensburg, but also the one week earlier in 1: 2 in Bochum. So, has the new purple-white storm duo been found? "It worked twice well and nobody would mind if things continued like this," the FCE attacker said rather reserved.

Epitome brought up a good point about Janni Serra's good form is very likely to bring attention to 1BL clubs by Summer even more so if Kiel don't make promotion. If he does leave this could be an opportunity for another striker to take his place.

Kiel's sporting director on transfer plans, article from a few days ago.
    Scouting focus:
"We focus on Germany, want to penetrate this market and know very well. A German-speaking young player can represent a greater added value for us. We look at the U23 teams, the talented players from the First and Second League. It's not just about the current level of performance, but also the perspective of the player. How big are the learning steps? How fast can he add value to the team? Where can the path go?

    Gives praise to 00-Awuku.
    To own young players:
"We rely on the junior team, create and improve the structures and hope that develop players that we will eventually see in the professional squad. Noah Awuku, for example, has made an extreme leap in performance. His substitution against Cologne was the deserved reward. This might be the first player we see regularly. So the work is beginning to bear fruit. In the state of Schleswig-Holstein, we want to be the main point of contact for talent in the future. We want to bind her emotionally to Holstein Kiel early on. There is a lot to do. "
    http://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/h...muth-blickt-auf-die-kommende-transferperiode/

If Serra leaves could be a good club for players like Daferner, Nieland. Hottmann, Herrmann, Pieringer, there are a few other options too. Even if he stays they are still scouting the reserves and other places. It's a good chance to jump to 2BL at a club that play plenty of games 2 upfront. And better than playing RL.

Daferner seems rated by Freiburg according to Bild. So might be complicated to get him. Recall Kiel are not as keen on getting players on loan vs permanent ownership. Nieland/Pieringer have expired 2019 contracts. Maybe for Hottmann/Herrmann their clubs in Stuttgart/Wolfsburg sell them with a buy back clause?

We want to use the winter training camp in La Manga to work a little more intensively with the boys on our guidelines for the first time," says Wück. "Position-specific training, individual content such as defensive one-on-one or behavior of a center forward with an opponent in the back will be our focus along with some tactical variations." It's also about "training work and teambuilding, which we want to promote with some measures." Finally, the games against Valencia and Ireland are a nice completion of the intense work. "

With the UEFA development tournament from 3 to 12 February 2019, which also includes the Netherlands, Italy and Portugal, the next task awaits the German U 16 soon after.

lol what kind of squad is this? Cakar and Djayo are the only forwards called up.
seems like Makanda either is still not eligible or Cakar was favored above him.

still U18 is the time to try as many players as possible, since it's nothing but friendlies.

97-Rexhbecaj who has cemented himself in Wolfsburg XI and provided the winning assist vs in form Frankfurt over the weekend. Seems like he's a possible German U21 call up.

    Rexhbecaj on the U21 radar?
That the 21-year-old could take such a steep development, was not foreseeable in summer, so Schmadtke. The manager praises, "Elvis is already structured so that every time he tries to bring his skills into our game, he does it well."

So good that he might soon be a topic in the German U-21 national team? Coach Stefan Kuntz was in Frankfurt on Sunday.

Schmadtke: "Although I have not seen Stefan Kuntz, but he will have noticed that the boy has made a decent game."
    http://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/e...st-vom-fast-abgang-zum-mittelfeld-dirigenten/

he's an example of a player that shows that you don't need to be a top talent to make it in 1BL.Getting a lot of praise recently too.

Henrichs and Monaco win 2-0 and with that they finally get out of the relegation zone and in the safety.

meanwhile Sabiri finally made the bench for the 1st time in awhile for Hudderfsield. Came on as a sub in the 75th only to be subbed out in the 78th minute. Looks like he was dribbling and was clipped/pushed and crashed and hurt his shoulder. Not sure about the details. Such a waste, gets a chance only to get injured like 2 seconds later....

    some Bremen updates for 1BL

97-Fridolin Wagner and 00-Julian Rieckmann are training with the 1st team due to injuries/suspensions. And either one or both (or none) could be in the matchday squad on Friday as they face FD.

Now when it comes to 1st team players/II, Baumann says the following about 3 players.
-They have a plan for 00-Mbom and he is not a lending candidate
Although there is no room for him yet, according to Baumann, the development is proceeding as expected: "Manuel Mbom is definitely not a lending candidate, it is not an issue and there was no sign of him in this respect, we are following a two- to three-year plan him and are fully in the target. "

while 97-Jacobsen and 97-Kauper seem headed for potential loans.
It is clear, however, that both should be lent only. In the future, Werder intends to continue to establish its own companies in the Bundesliga, thus focusing on continuous youth development

some 99-Torben Musel updates. Article is from Nov 30, before the RB game.

Ex-Lauterer Torben Müsel with the "foals" on the right path.
Football Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach is flying high. On Sunday (15.30 clock), the table second in the top match at Rasenballsport Leipzig. Not yet in the squad, but Torben Müsel is well on the way. The 19-year-old came in the summer of 1. FC Kaiserslautern to the "foals". "He has played until now in the U23 and in test matches of the pros.

"He is with us in every training of professionals here and has also with the seasoned players a good standing. They see that he can do it, because he quickly internalizes many things. Last week, he scored a great goal in our test against Münster ", head coach Dieter Hecking praising the youngster.

Well Schonfelder has played a lot at striker this season.

But is this like an experimental squad? Many new faces

I like Jastremski was called up last time and he was useful, probably the only relevant centre forward for now in 2001. Dautaj... what the ******** is going on with him?

Makanda has his german passport already, but still working on his clearance from FIFA.

Schonfelder played striker? Isn't he supposed to be LB/LW/Wingback type?

Dautaj should find a new club in Winter. Besides in the long run, seems doubtful he'll make it to the Hoff 1st team, just delaying the inevitable.

doesn't Makanda like Moukoko have question marks on his age too?

Not too much discussion about Makandas age

Yea, Schonfelder plays as striker when Mainz played 2 up front. Or usually in 2nd half when they have tactical change

most likely no discussion about Makanda's age because he never overdid anything like Moukoko. Even guys like Tekin/Asllani have done better in U17 than Makanda and now in U19 he's had a sluggish start.

    More on Kaya.
One who took the stage was Fatih Kaya. The 19-year-old not only attracted attention because of his goal. The striker moved well, did not shy away from the duels, spent himself completely exhausted and was also a goal-threat - a rare combination in the harmless FCI attack. "For me, a dream came true," it gushed out after his professional debut from Kaya. Of course I wanted to finish my job and help the team, "said Kaya, who had taken this opportunity step by step.

The training camp with the pros, the successful graduation exam, the first professional contract and ten goals in the U21 regional league team strengthened the self-confidence of the center forward. But the 19-year-old wants to remain on the ground: "I still make a lot of mistakes in training and have to learn, I'm patient and happy that I've got my chance now, but I'm not a player who demands anything, just try to retrieve my performance and offer me. "
Kaya, who had to cramp after 65 minutes, knows where (still) his limits are. "I have never played at such a level, the pace is different than in the Regionalliga, it was only a matter of time how long I lasted, I would have liked to continue, but I wasted myself," Kaya said ,

Well, Makanda did well in B-Jugend Sud too (usually more competitive than Nord)

Let’s see how Tekin n Asllani will do next season

Schonfelder is very versatile, can play every position on the left n even as striker... reminds me of Marco Bode

If Dautaj is good enough, he has a chance to make it everywhere

But it just doesn’t look like it... is not even a standout in Hoffenheim U19, he won’t make it for the pro team for sure

Kid is kinda like giving up football
