Neuhaus drawing more praise after his play with the U21 NT during international break. Interesting how in his first actual season with the club, Neuhaus has already overtaken Kramer and Zakaria for a starter spot 🎙️ #Hecking: "I'm delighted to have Florian #Neuhaus at the club and it was great to see him play well for the Germany U21s this week."#DieFohle #BMGS04 pic.twitter.com/NzkqKpJolq— Gladbach (@borussia_en) September 13, 2018
another 00 makes his debut and in the XI, both a pro debut and 1BL debut for Burkardt after making the bench last matchday. 📋 Our starting XI for today. It's a @Bundesliga_EN debut for 18-year-old Jonathan #Burkardt 👏#UpTheMainz #M05FCA pic.twitter.com/MmKkQUjSz6— Mainz 05 English (@Mainz05en) September 15, 2018
finally Arp gets his chance! makes his 2BL debut this season, comes on the 78th minute for an assist to Lasogga as Hamburg win 3-2. He assisted the 2nd Hamburg goal. here's his assist in image and context. Arp is played in down the right side. He cuts inside the defender and chips it into the box for Lasogga to head home for his brace. pic.twitter.com/NSf1wnopm6— HSV News English (@HSVnewsEN) September 15, 2018 HE'S DONE IT AGAIN!!!Fantastic work from #Arp in the box who crosses for #Lasogga and he heads home 😍GET IN!!(80') #nurderHSV #HSVFCH 2-1 pic.twitter.com/oA0FLDyqa3— HSV English (@HSV_English) September 15, 2018 1040943162083221504 is not a valid tweet id
U17 X3: Tekin (believe this was his 10th goal of the season, already). X2: Yilmaz, Winkler, Woltemade X1: Jacob Jansen, Schwirten, Fischer, Scott, Gedikli, Turkmen, Janke, Gyameshie, Atmaca, Kerkemeyer, Dentico, Dvorak, Mugge, Velasco, Roggow, Soares, Quast, Vogt, Hecker, Nankishi, Kaid, Brand, Sapper U19 X2: Hartmann, Dedidis, Keil, Aydinel X1: Stiller, Tost, Leopold, Hermes, Risch, Dajaku, Hottmann, Cakar, Elmkies, Geschwill, Kilic, Hommel, Stierlin, Jeong, Petermann, Sitz, Eidtner, Albrecht, Pia, Wellers, Uzun, Can, Gyamfi, Baum, Heil, Krasniqi Dutch U19 Kuhn at his best, scoring 2 goals in U19 in his 1st match there in a 3-0 win. Played 71 minutes, where he showcased his dribbling skills for both goals as well as good shooting. but lol at that 1st goal, 5 players+GK and he still scored. While 99-Hanek made his 2nd appearance. 1BL today 4 German youth players played for Mainz as they won 2-1. F.Muller conceding 1 goal, Baku who played 86 minutes, 00-Burkardt who made his pro debut and 1BL debut played the full game and finally 99 CB-Gurleyen played 12 minutes in his 1BL/pro debut. at Augsburg, 99 GK-Leneis made the bench for the 1st time.
Arp's Assist from 0:25- Nice work from Arp to get passed the defender and the GK for the cross to Lasogga.
Eredivisie -Chabot made his 1st start of the season for Groningen in the XI playing 80 minutes. Also starting yet again is Handwerker who's starting his 3rd consecutive game. Groningen lost 3-0 to Ajax. -Akkaynak played 10 minutes for Willem. After he came on, Willem II made the comeback from being down 2-0 to 2-2 draw. Ligue 1 Henrichs played the full game for Monaco in a 1-1 draw. His 2nd consecutive game in Ligue 1. Although Monaco is currently near the relegation zone.
He's with Germany U21 now but I think the DFB needs to cap tie Waldemar Anton when he becomes senior eligibility only to be safe. I'd rank Anton ahead of Baumgartl in terms of '96-born CB's. And if Tah doesn't improve, then maybe Anton could even end up being better than him too in the long run.
I do think he should be cap tied besides his good performances and being named captain at 22 of a 1BL club. We have done it before tbh, I think Sane (Senegal/France), Tah (Ivory Coast), Henrichs (Ghana), and Gnabry (Ivory Coast) were all called up early on to permanently cap tied them to Germany. In terms of cap tying. I do wonder about the 2 German-Nigerian CBs from the 97 group. Torunarigha and Uduokhai both have Nigeria who keep knocking on the door. Both even turned them down in favor of Germany instead of getting a free ticket to the 2018 WC. But soon enough the only thing left for them to play is potential 2020 Olympics assuming Germany makes it. But the longer they get ignored the more likely they switch. Uduokhai has lost his place which is a shame because of those injury issues from last season and same time Brooks is back and fit. Has been mostly a bench CB for awhile. But Torunarigha is 1st choice at Hertha and does have plenty of potential.
U17 X2: Kramny (already at 9 and scoring in every game), Harres, Harnafi X1: Rhein, Porta, M.Ozkaya, Kudala, Egloff, Knappe, Wietzorek, Pakia, Ozden, Thaqi, Barata U19 X1: Mensah, Batmaz, Hinz, Eyibil, Jung, Kersthold, Protzek, Koelle, Tokac, Appelkamp, Dressen, Hiepen, Niehues, Sabani, Pfalz RL Stark (3rd), Wintzheimer (2nd), Kade (2nd), Pfeiffer X2 (3rd), Kohlert (2nd) 3rd Liga -Kai Wagner with the assist to the only goal as WK beat Unterhaching 1-0. -Donkor had an assist in a 2-2 draw for Hansa 2BL -lyoha started his game 1st of the season as Aue won 3-1, playing 86 minutes. -Vasiliadis off the bench assisted the winning goal for Paderborn in their 5-3 win over Koln in 2BL we are still at a point where good chunk of the youth are bench players that are either used or unused. It's a shame, hopefully it gets better as we go further along the season. Not counting injured players like Kruger.
coach Klose is doing well for himself as Bayern U17 win another game beating favorites Hoff U17 2-1. Half of the U17 Sud/Sudwest table only has 5 pts apart between them. His team are in 1st place with 5 wins and 1 loss. in the win he played 6/11 03s and 2/4 subs were also 03s. As guys like M.Tillman, Denk (03), Kainz and Sieghart are out. Stuttgart with Kramny and Mainz are also doing well for themselves. Mainz seems to have plenty of prospects and willing to play them. F.Muller, Baku, Gurleyen, Burkardt at one point were all in the XI together for the 1st team yesterday. U19 have guys like Eyibil, Papela, Schonfelder etc that seem to be next.
crazy game between Freiburg and Stuttgart, on the one had Stenzel gets a 2 yellow=red on the other Waldschmidt off the bench scores the equalizer to make it 3-3.
looks like Jonathan Burkardt set a Mainz record for being the youngest ever debutant/starter at 18 years and 66 days. Sandro Schwarz, Burkardt and Gurleyen talk about the 2 youngsters's debut. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...-hatte-traenen-in-den-augen.html#omsmtwkicker
Torunarigha out for weeks, maybe months. Sad,he was really, really good in the last games. Better than Boateng in this age
Torunarigha also kept Bayern out last season as Hertha drew Bayern 0-0 in that game, he was the difference maker. Although this could be a chance for Baak to get more chances. meanwhile Augsburg are having attacking player injury problems. Currently out Schieber, Finnbogason, and finally Ji who was declared out today. Wonder if Malone who made the bench once last season, was part of the 1st team preseason in Summer and who's currently leading the U19 Sud/Sudwest scoring table will be called up? Could be yet another 00 that makes his pro debut. I believe the only 00 prominent attacking players who have yet to make their pro debut are Hottmann, Yeboah, and Herrmann (only including ones that are regulars in NT). 2/3 play for Wolfsburg who seem not keen on playing youngsters without pro experience unless they are forced to.
some UEFA Youth League squad of note as it's 00-onwards but clubs are allowed to include a few 99s. Majority of the 4 teams their squads are the same as U19 so mostly 00-01. But with some exceptions. -looks like Kuhn played with Ajax U19 this past weekend in anticipation of the Youth League match. F.Nmecha is on Man City's squad as is Glatzel for Liverpool. -Bayern have included some 02 and 03s in their squad 02: M.Tillman, Mosandl, Lawrence 03: Fust and Rhein -Hoff also included some 02 and 03 02: Messina, Calhanoglu, Weiss, Marco John, Beier, Sejdinovic, Ozkaya 03: Sieb -Dortmund 02: Hetemi -Schalke 02: Can-Aydin, Krasniqi, Tehe, Janke 99s of note: Amade, D.Otto, Alberico, Franzke, Shabani, Zaiser, J.Meier, Wiemann, Kubler, Goller
have to say Bayer Leverkusen are wasting Schreck. Not only do they spend $20M to buy Paulinho an 18 year old, who also makes matchday squad but they didn't even bother at the min loaning him out. Seems like he's currently will only get chances if injuries/suspensions happen. with Bellarabi suspended for 4 games, wonder if Schreck will at least make the bench?
Your posts are so annoying Looks like xx is wasting xx.... Maybe they have a long term plan to implement slowly? Why always rush? Physically Schreck is weak
Paul Will made the Bayern CL traveling squad. Wonder if he gets a chance? Will seems to be a Kovac favorite based on the 1st team preseason in Summer.
More from Sandro Schwarz, Burkardt and Gurleyen about the youngsters. https://www.mainz05.de/news/das-gefuehl-ist-einfach-ueberragend/
UEFA Youth League -Glatzel with an assist as Liverpool trashes PSG 5-2 -Aydinel scored for Dortmund in a 1-1 draw vs Brugge, not good enough result. -Schalke U19 got trashed 3-0 by Porto, dreadful result. Truth is that Schalke U19 this season is pretty weak and seem less likely to even make the Championship run as Dortmund, Bochum and Koln seem way ahead. And this season shows just how much difference Kruger made for the U19. Team always looked better when he was up top between his scoring/assisting as well as his hold up play. Doesn't seem like there is anyone to do that this season. 2BL so Vagnoman makes his 1st XI of the season for Hamburg but seems to be in LW?
Waldemar Anton confirmed that the Russian NT coach contacted him before the World Cup. "I have repeatedly said that I feel on the one hand at home in Germany, because I grew up here and my parents live here. On the other hand, in Russia, where I was born and where a very large part of my family still lives. Although I am naturally honored to be talking about this subject, I myself have always been very good at not worrying about something that may happen in the future and prefer focusing on my daily work." https://m.bild.de/sport/fussball/na...es-russland-trainers-57333718.bildMobile.html
have to say it's annoying the attempt of trying to poach our players and offering them WC tickets to join as well. I am glad that a lot of the players seem to be turning down those chances, at least shows commitment to the program.
UEFA Youth League. -Hoff U19 beat Shakhtar 2-1. D.Otto in his 1st game of the season drew a PK that was scored by Alberico (it's also the 1st goal in the competition for Hoff U19) and the winning goal was scored by Tubluk with an assist by Amade. -Bayern U19 are doing nothing but crashing under Hoeness as Bayern loses 3-0. Terrible result and a coach that can't get the best out of anyone. Too defensively obsessed as well and even then it fails. German results in Youth League 1 win (barely), 1 draw and 2 losses.....Looks like nothing has changed in that tournament. -F.Nmecha played the entire 2nd half for Man City in a 4-1 loss vs Lyon. He also scored Man City's lone goal. Believe it was his 1st game of the season as well. -Kuhn opened the score for Ajax U19 as they won 6-0 as well as assisting the 4th goal. his goal Ekkelenkamp - Kühn.
