Okay, there you have your next scapegoat. Comments like this make me happy that Löw is still at the helm.
Özjl has produced for the national team for some time. I'm as big a fan as any of jumping on the bandwagon of the next big thing but production and experience counts and shouldn't be disrespected. The idea that Özil doesn't deserve to even be on the team is very problematic.
Finally we can try play with three pure midfielders... vs England for example or we can play clear 3-4-3 formation without false wing ( Ozil) Neuer Hector Hummels Rudiger Sule Kimmich Kroos Weigl Draxler Muller Werner - cant wait
I think Werner should start vs England since it's just a friendly, while Gomez can play vs Azerbaijan if Low wants a more experienced player for the qualifier. And in that game Werner can be a sub.
I think Howedes will play alongside Hummels against Azerbaijan....also Gomez is also must against them...they will sit deep and we need strong physical player inside the box....Howedes is very good at set pieces as well
would love to see this 3-4-3 formation VS England -----------------------------------Neuer ------------------Rudiger-----Howedes-----Hummels ----Kimmich-----------------------------------------------------Hector -------------------------Emre Can----------Kroos --------------Sane-------------Mueller------------Draxler
I'm not a fan of his starting either but did you witness his nice through ball before Liverpool's goal yesterday against ManC?
No need, I saw what he know in past period when he played for NT , the worst preformances were when he played as right back and solid when he played in the midfield.
Manuel Neuer will not play for Germany this week with a calf problem. Kevin Trapp called up to replace him pic.twitter.com/M6rsgEIwQK— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) March 20, 2017 Let's change the plane Don't worry - Ter Stegen is here
yeah no Neuer=Ter Stegen will start both games since he's our 2nd goalie. as for that England lineup, no bad, just a friendly game and it would give Rudiger/Sule/Can/Weigl/Werner some experience.
Azerbaijan are shit. Northern Ireland beat them 4-0 in their last qualifying match. It doesn't really matter which players Löw decides to field. Germany can beat them with the B team.
yup seems like Low has his eye on Werner playing at the Confederations Cup. "World champions Germany open their 2017 campaign by bidding farewell to veteran forward Lukas Podolski while rising star Timo Werner is set to make his debut against Gareth Southgate’s England on Wednesday. Germany have struggled to settle on a striker to replace all-time top-scorer Miroslav Klose, who scored 71 goals in 137 internationals, and retired after they won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. “I do wonder where the next Miroslav Klose is?” Germany’s head coach Joachim Loew asked a year ago before adding Klose to his coaching staff. “Where is the striker, who plays in the middle, who is quick, has a strong header and is dangerous in front of goal?” Loew believes he has his answer and wants to blood Werner with one eye on June’s Confederations Cup in Russia. The 21-year-old fleet-footed striker drew the attention of Loew, and Liverpool, according to reports, with a series of dynamic performances and has so far bagged 14 goals for Leipzig in their first Bundesliga season. Loew says Werner has the potential to be world class and will test his rising star against the Three Lions. Werner admitted he nearly crashed his car when the Germany call-up came. “I had to be careful not to tear the wheel off,” Werner told Die Welt. “I had just been shopping and had to pull over. “If I play in my first international, it will be an honour.” As Loew breaks in a new striker, he will be waving goodbye to Galatasaray’s Podolski. The international friendly against Southgate’s Three Lions in Dortmund doubles as swansong for Podolski, who retired from international football last year, but has been called up for a farewell appearance. The 31-year-old has scored 48 goals in 148 appearances for Germany, but has not held down a first-team place since the Euro 2012 finals. Loew is likely to start with Mario Gomez, who has scored for Wolfsburg in his last three games, with RB Leipzig’s Werner either alongside him or coming off the bench with Podolski on the wing. Loew will experiment in Dortmund, then name a full-strength side for Sunday’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan in Baku, the same day England host Lithuania at Wembley." https://worldsoccertalk.com/2017/03/20/werner-set-for-germany-debut-as-podolski-bids-farewell/
wow unexpected stuff. after Neuer has been ruled out. now Gomez, Draxler and Ozil are out vs England. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...xler-and-mario-gomez-to-miss-england-friendly I think this increases the likelihood that Werner will start vs England. And I'm sure that Draxler or Ozil being out won't have changed much since Podolski is most likely starting the game.
I think we'll see this lineup ---------------------Ter Stegen ---Kimmich--Rudiger----Hummels---Hector ---------------Emre Can---Kroos ---Sane------------Mueller-----------Podolski ----------------------Werner
so England will play with a back 3, uh? Reported England team v Germany (3-4-3): Hart; Keane, Smalling, Cahill; Walker, Dier, Livermore, Bertrand; Lallana, Vardy, Alli.
LOL our players are being injured left and right. Khedira out vs England. http://www.fourfourtwo.com/news/juventus-midfielder-khedira-out-germany-v-england that's our 5th player to miss this game.
