One thing I don't understand is why more obscure FAs shell out big money for these big foreign names that don't understand the player pool, often don't speak the language, and often simply aren't trying as hard as they can given they see these jobs as additional retirement savings. Invest that money in developing your own coaches domestically who understand the players and speak the language.
Especially for a country like China where despite tremendous amount of monetary resources, they still need to make major improvements upon the player development aspect. Until they're able to bring up players who can compete consistently on the international scene, offers like these are going to be nothing more than easy money for Löw.
