Ayoooo question.....does this guy go on TV shows too and try to teach like hes guardiola lol If so how many interviews until IMD gets all wet off this vato too <_<?
How long until your gang of goons shows up to throw down with me? C'mon bro....you're over here swinging from Piojo's nuts like Tarzan. Piojo is done, he's never coming back. Matter of fact, I guarantee you the FMF calls Chepo before Piojo.
After sleeping on it, I think this is good. I am convinced, this will be legendary. Televisa will create a worthy fútbol soap opera and call it "Sin Tata no hay paraíso." Trendy bars down La Condesa will all develop a "Tata Martini" in his honor (replacing the olive with a slice of beef jerky we'll be told was imported from some estancia in some pampa down south). George Romero will reshoot his 1978 Martin psycho-horror movie and title it Martino where an Argentinian vampire believes himself to be a soccer coach and then convinces an unnamed Spanish-speaking nation that he is. BSMX Photoshop experts will transmogrify Tata Martino's head onto San Martín de Porres' iconography (and be accused of cultural appropriation in the process, making them into martyrs) so that we can all worship San Martino da Porras. Bards and poet laureates will fawn odes to Tata and give reason for the BSMX "BeatNiks Poetry Corner" to go beyond seven pages and 169 replies even though it's been around since 2009.
Daaaang, ya te mojaste my seed? <_< Lemme see that interview bro....I wanna see what already got you hyped lmao.... Meanwhile Piojo out there striving and picking up championships....no swinging, just facts. Chepo had it all lowkey. I liked his toluca formation........ only mistake was he fell in love with certain players and didnt believe in form. Then again your boy didnt even believe in positions lol.
I will support Tata....who else has had a track record like this guy coaching our NT? Menotti and Sven....that's it.
The thing I like right off the bat is Tata brought in his own people from the very beginning of his coaching career.
From what I read and saw, Tata's system revolves around the talent and skill of the team. Which makes him better than Osorio already. I'm curious what formation and tactics Tata will use. To me, Mexico's greatest strength is attacking and the ability to go on the counter 0-60 quick. Tata used and settled with a 3-5-2 formation with Atlanta (he did play with a 4-2-3-1 formation initially).
FMF has Piojo on speed dial just in case Tata bombs. Which should be difficult given how weak the region continues to be. That said, Piojo has outperformed all the so called progressive foreign coaches that have been coming to Liga MX. And he has done it whilst coaching at Xolos too. He might be a Naco but hes our Naco. Many of those players had a major drop in form and their club careers were in limbo like Guardado and Chicha. Then there was a string of injuries that only made the situation worse. Overall, I feel Chep lacks the motivation prowess of based Piojo who managed to get many of the same players to improve drastically by the World Cup.
The FMF has been courting Bielsa for years (maybe a full on over a decade now) and they still can't land their man. Martino is as close as they will ever get. Big IF, they respect his contract and let him run things his way, maybe, maybe, maybe, Bielsa will tag in one day. Don't hold your breath though. God help us if Piojo ends up the manager again. He's choked massively twice when having the better overall team. The first against Netherlands (the forum consensus is that Liga MX is better than Eredivisie; Van Gaal had a Feyenoord base) and the second against Toronto in Concachampions (Toronto FC didn't even make MLS playoffs). Piojo is lucky people only remember his slap on Martinoli and not the shit way the National Team was playing pre- and during the Geiger Cup. Motivational tactics generally work when you have equal talent or better (like the Liga MX parity). It hasn't worked for Mexico because they aren't an "A-lister" at the big dance. Mexico needs a tactically able manager to help them punch above their weight tactically able to adjust on the fly. Piojo and most Liga MX managers ain't it. JCO is right in saying the Mexican manager should be ambitious and travel. TLDR; Piojo vale pito.
Marcone suggesting Tata Martino enquired about getting the midfielder to play for Mexico, even though a naturalized Mexican would have to have lived in the country for 5 years. Reminds me of Osorio and Pizarro. #eltrieng https://t.co/HjAyBfedEH— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) January 18, 2019
Yo....looking at his feed, tom Marshall is lowkey a chivas fan in the cuttz. I knew he was suspect for some reason <_<
