What do you think is the likelihood the guy gets an invite back to the USMNT ever? Has he burned too many bridges?
Yep! Best for him to just commit himself to extending his club career as long as possible rather than trying to grab a few more caps.
Right now you have a whole bunch of American central defenders/fullbacks/CMs who are on the wrong side of 30 or close to it Geoff Cameron Eric Lichaj Timothy Chandler Tim Ream Fabian Johnson Theoretically you can make a case for any of these guys - people regularly do argue for them on my twitter account. But if the team is going to get younger, you can probably only take 1-2. Ream is playing better than all of them the past few years so I get it with him.
He should've gotten more looks, he should've played that night in Trinidad, he should've been the utility guy we had on the field in must win situations but he also seems a bit of an ass. Have always rated him, he probably still could do a job against CONCACAF teams.

Geoff is playing CB it seems. Jack-of-all-trades to the end, against Reading he was CM, against Cardiff he was RB, and today he's with Masterson building the wall against Swansea. They're up 3-0 already.

Cameron started and went 90’ in a win against Leeds this morning. He played really well for a 34 year old. FotMob had him rated at 7.0 Side note: Shame he’s basically been banned from the NT, because he could provide good competition for spots up to qualifying.

Cameron once again solid in midfield, but got his usual old-man yellow card. A roundup of today's Ch'ship: Robinson still injured, CCV had a good game after forever, Ream had a bad one since that one with the red card, Holmes got injured early (nothing serious, it seems), Miazga still injured, Cameron the happy note of the day, and Lichaj is out for the rest of the season.
