His testimonial match was 10/20/07 - 10 years, almost to the day. He could still hit a sweet pass, but really couldn't run much. With another decade of deterioration...that's why I'm going to stay in lot 8. I would go in just to see some of the guys for a few minutes, but with the no reentry policy I'm just going to skip it.

If you mean coaching at all levels, then Simpson had gone out to Virginia Beach at one point and then of course there is George Gelnovatch at UVA. Seems Stoitchkov even went to some managing positions.
Ok he was well past his prime but he was the most accomplished player to ever don the Black and Red, we'd be lucky to have a player of his caliber again regardless of his disposition,
Nelson, though I'm not sure if he is coaching now and of course you have Ali Curtis & Earnie Stewart in management.
Yep. There was more excitement and scoring in the Legends Game than there was in the real one. Jamil Walker's goal was a real thing of beauty.

This low league Brazilian team uses our old crest https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Associação_Atlética_Portela_Teixeira_de_Freitas
This is extremely cool. They're in the second division of the Bahia state league, on the sixth level of the Brazilian football pyramid. I say we bring them up here for a friendly.
My fear is the current administration is more likely to sue for trademark infringement than invite them here for a friendly.
Although part of the case would be confusion -- in that it folks would have a hard time telling difference in product between DCU and Sixth Division Brazilian Football.
