Let's transfer discussion to a new thread since the Official News and Transfer one has a more specific necessity rather than our thoughts on games.

I'll start with mentioning that Boca has a slight chance of actually winning the torneo. Many things need to happen but regardless of this. We have made a little something out of nothing and can take it to the next season with some possible add ons. I'm not sure if it's just humo but they are lookig for Forlan who is in Japan. I had no idea but it sounds to me that he has fallen off even further. He needs to come back to his continent.

It has been a funny time since Bianchi has been back. Sort of one step forward two steps back. We have but together a decent run as of late, but the chances we will climb to the top of the table are exceptionally slim. The defence has been the problem but it is getting better as time goes on, we often don;t defend well as a team tactically however. So often I see Boca leaving huge gaps between midfield and defence making us prone to concedeing silly break away goals.

Roman has come back into the fold and been very influential scoring some great goals and leading the team well, I worry however how long he can keep dragging us up to his level. Gago has been disappointing but injuries and not getting a solid run of games always take it out of players form and is something that often happens to Fernando.

My major concern is the seemingly slowing of the younger players coming through. Bravo and Acosta have begun and Erbes has established himself, but the real quality attacking talents just seem to have dried up. Maybe just a lul and players like Vadala could be brought through sooner rather than later.

The Copa Sudamericana prematurely congratulated us on their twitter but we finally qualified. Bianchi has won it twice before lets see if he can get out of his slump.

Bianchi never won the Sudamericana. Chino Benitez and Basile were coaching Boca when you guys won the 2004 and 2005 Sudamericanas.

There are lots of rumors about Hernan Barcos possibly joining Boca in June:

    http://www.ole.com.ar/boca-juniors/sube-Barcos_0_1134486854.html

As a River fan, I'd love to see this move happen... But for your guys' sake, this would just be a terrible decision.

This player is so limited technically and his finishing is dismal. The fact that he played for Argentina just shows how incompetent Sabella is (and he was in the process of descending to the B in Brasil with Palmeiras at the time) and now he's some how the captain of Gremio, and he was probably their worst player when they got knocked out of the Copa against San Lorenzo. Seriously his control is so awful.

Ehh he's pretty decent at times just streaky. We need more playmakers like Mouche back then start worrying about who can get them in the goal

Gigliotti is already here and he is alright imo he just needs better playera around him.
JMM already took too long to impress us.

Anybody know when the Boca game is on i see it at 2:15 pacific time but on TyC a game already overrides that time. FPT has it live on the youtube channel or is it a recording?

All games are live on youtube.

Quilmes-Gimnasia is about to start so I would imagine TyC is going to put on that game because its one team fighting for the title and the other for relegation, while Boca and Lanus aren't fighting for anything.

Probably Riquelme's last home game at Boca i was down by retiro earlier and saw lots of bostero's congregating. I don't think Angelici is going to be able to walk down the street if he doesn't resign riquelme.

    Don't forget, he's a hardcore River fan.

He had even said that he was dreaming of eliminating Boca from the Libertadores before he joined you guys. ;)

Grande Roman! I was honestly really concerned that he was done earlier on in the campaign, but he came back in a big way.

Boca finish up the season with a 1-0 win at Gimnasia thanks to a Golazo from Acosta.2nd place is not where we want to be,considering who was first lol,but Bianchi looks like he is building a strong Boca again.

I absolutely hate them winning it....I'd trade 5 spots on the table to have had them finish in 2nd. However, the very worst feeling I had this torneo is Funes Mori getting that game winner against us. That kind of fail messes you up for a while.
