This is a little late for the SIUE game, which i am still hoping to get too, but what about supporters T's. The ideas that i say in the supporters thread looked awesome so we should just go with them. But what about getting them made?

I think this can be discussed at our first meeting whenever that is. But I think we have our T-shirt writing now:

MLS to STL: The time is now.

So the next question is who knows the best/cheapest t-shirt place?

I just heard about the Collinsville deal on NPR on my way to work this morning!

I don't know if the owner, John, is a soccer fan (I don't remember him being in a trance last june like some of us), but his place, Beatnik's, in Belleville, might be an option for you (although a bit far-flung I guess).
He does really nice work, is an independent business owner, and the two people I've sent to him in the past have been really happy with everything.

Figured I would plug my local t-shirt guy. I guess that if you end up working with him, let him know that Joe, the crazy nutball from The Ground Floor sent you. I'm pretty sure he would know me by that description. ;)

[/SIZE]I hope this MLS deal goes through, that would be huge! It looks like there are some highly motivated and highly organized forces at play.

    Guys,

I changed the colors in the GCSC logo to match the ones from SLSU's crest.

If you like these I'll change them permanently on the websites, so please respond.

Just when I had adjusted to the green/blue design......

I think I like the green/blue better. It stands out a little better on the t-shirt. But, I like green and silver also, so it is a win/win for me.

Agreed - but I do think we should match the team.
I think the Silver is just an accent color.

KD, Change the Blue & Silver on the main crest - blue circle silver letters
Like the alternate crest - that looks much better.

Oh, and can you also do it - for comparison - with the darker green also?

Not trying to stir things up because I know you guys have pretty well settled on this design but when I saw it I couldn't help but think that was a volleyball in the background. Did anyone else think that?

Let me know if you need a connection on getting the T-shirts created.

SB, I agree that the dark circle looks better. I worked on new versions yesterday, but didn't have time to get them posted.

    Here they are.

I tried the darker green, but I think I like the lighter shade better.

The UL (upper left) version is closest to your suggestion, so I can just change the shade and were good, if that's what we want.

However, I think I like the LR (lower right) version with the dark figure of St. Louis.

I also think we might be better going with a navy blue or gray shirt, instead of green. Primarily because that particular shade of green may be impossible to find ( I tried putting other shades behind it and none of them looked good.)

I agree with you KD and think the BR is the best one. It would look great on a gray shirt. But if we went with a navy shirt, it might look better with a silver circle and navy lettering, to make the logo stand out off the shirt more. A green shirt would be awesome, but you are right when you say it would have to be the right color of green.

SB, whenever you get these made, just let me know how I can get one. Put some info up in here or on the leaguelineup site.

Here you go, the new GCSC logo.

and the logo on three different colors of t-shirt. I think it works on the forest green.

Yeah, cafe press is the way to go. No minimum orders, reasonably good quality, and a readymade online store. I think the Eads Brigade gets a cut of the sales, too.

I think the old GCSC site had a store page tied to that.
