Both starting...2-0 lead at the half, Fabien Johnson and di Salvo have each scored and set up each other's goal.

I know it is only 2.5 games into the season, but quite the impressive start by 1860. I guess they wanted Standard Liège to have competition for the best YA club start to the season.

Right before full time, Schwarz gets Munich's third.

3-0, full time, 1860 remains on top of the 2. Bundesliga.

Berhalter goes 90 in the win.

1860 have certainly jumped out of the gates early and are looking good. They have a slew of youngsters who are now mixing well with a good group of veterans. I hope they substain this form and I hope Wolff and Berhalter continue to play key roles. It's also nice to see US-eligible Fabian Johnson scoring today. He's a talent no doubt and I hope Josh and Gregg give a nice plug about US Soccer.

3 matches played, 3 matched won, 12:3 goal difference for die Löwen.

BTW, an honorary Yank (ex-St. Louis U. striker) Vedad Ibicevic went 90 for Hoffenheim.

good to get the points early. but i hope they are not one of those teams that will fall apart when they lose a couple of games.

Couldn't be happier for Berhalter-- he's found a good team to play for and he's playing well for them. I also can't help but think that he's really found his level in BL2.
