Nice headed goal by Tanner Thompson, with some bad defending by the Deltas. A 5'7" player scoring a headed goal means that there was a defensive breakdown.
Indy was back on its heels in the minutes after the tying goal, but is now generating some pressure of its own. Braun beat the Delta's keeper with a weak shot from a tough angle, but it was cleared by a Deltas defender.
The point isn't terrible results for an opening game after a long trip. And Indie did create a few good chances sides the goal. But I agree that there is work that needs to be done.
i forgot this was "on", but it sounds like i should be glad i avoided the frustration. SF will have to travel east to indy next weekend right? all these back to backs will make for interesting watching to see how the coaches adjust their teams.
Indy next plays home-and-away against Puerto Rico and then has a bye before the Deltas come to Indiana on April 22.
