Galaxy Obtain More Sponsors

It’s pretty underwhelming. They keep boasting about “HD” video quality, but it’s so compressed it might as well be 480i. Also annoying default notification settings, unless you’re nostalgic for AOL’s old “you’ve got mail”

 

I would love to see Alcatel replace Herbalife as the shirt sponsor, even if Alcatel might not be the best quality smartphone.

 

That makes two of us. I would like to get a new uni but not while that snake oil is on the front.

 

i'll third that one. don't want to buy anything with Herbalife on the front. unfortunately, we're stuck until 2022

 

You'd think having Gio on board long term would lead to a lot of opportunity in the Mexican American community for new sponsorships.

 

Who remembers that in the early days at the Rose Bowl, the Galaxy had an "official jalapeño"?

 

I'm glad we are moving away from the "snake oil" type sponsors, and more towards something real. You know, like oxygenated water:

pretty sure all of us would love (BLANK) to replace Herbalife as our shirt sponsor

 

I would absolutely love if Samsung "galaxy S (numbers for the next 10 years)" was our shirt sponsor!

 

yeah it would make a lot of sense... if the Galaxy was a massive club I could see them designing a special edition phone just for the Galaxy

 

I'm OK with "Herbalife" across the front. Not because of the company but, the "Herbal Life". I can't remember who but, someone said they modify their jerseys to say "Herb4life" which I couldn't risk damaging a jersey for but, yeah, if you're into happy smoke...

Anyone know how to modify the lettering on jerseys? That way all of you not happy with Herbalife can still buy a shirt and take it off and/or put whatever you want on it.

Ha! I knew I couldn't have been the only one to think of this. Although I've never actually seen anyone with an HERB4LIFE sponsor mod. I don't think I'd risk damaging the shirt though. Perhaps a fabric sticker of the same color as the shirt could work... just cover up the A.
