Llorente, Theo, Asensio, Vallejo... It's exciting to think we have a B-team so good. At least on paper. I hope all goes well. No injuries, no drama, no complaining for minutes, controlled egos. If ZZ manages that, I see our team dominating Spain and Europe for some years.
The France youth international and his brother, Atletico's Lucas Hernandez, were the subject of bids from City last summer. Those bids led to Atletico extending Theo's contract until 2021 and increasing the amount of the release clause from €6 million to a reported €24m. http://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2017/07/05/595cfc2be2704e7e378b45c1.html The deal is expected to cost 26 million euros, paid in three instalments, with Hernandez agreeing a six-year deal at Los Merengues.
Great transfer, especially considering how important the full-backs are in our current system. Snatching away one of Atletico's biggest talents is the icing on the cake.
His entusiasim to play for us is probably the best part about this deal. Can imagine there are a few players at Atleti who probably feel the same (*cough* Griezmann *cough*).
TBH Griezmann could have left them this summer but decided to stay instead due to their transfer ban. He seems pretty loyal. Atletico are being managed properly, if they can keep this up for another 10-20 years they will become a top team.
AS is a shit source when it comes to RM. Ever since they ********ed up their relationship with Flo, Marca is the better source.
I don't even read it, everyone claims they have been shut out, so they have to go third hand to get sources.
From Compton to Beverly Hills - The Theo Heranadez Thread I don't know. I couldn't think of anything else. Has to be shitting on Atleti somehow.
Tbh I'm so sick of shit thread titles that for once I'd prefer it to literally be "The Theo Hernandez Thread" .
I did not watch his former team's games and all the videos I've seen of him he is getting forward and attacking (and scoring goals), because of that I have no real idea so I am asking , what is his defending like, I've not been able to find anything showing him in defensive situations so that I can kind of judge, even a little bit
I think before commentating on the thread title we should discuss how shitty is the photoshopping here.
Well Marcelo's backup does not necessarily have to play exactly like Marcelo ( and going forward no one does IMO), I'm just wondering what his defensive skills are like as I have no idea and defending will be an integral part of his job as well, so, was just asking if anyone had an idea.
Someone asked why his presentation was so late in the day(in Madrid). They want to make sure that most of the Atletico fans are back home from work to watch Theo's presentation live. https://t.co/gMDLPrI4P3— M•A•J (@UltraSuristic_) July 10, 2017
James made 111 appearances for Real, scoring 36 goals and producing 41 assists. Yet Benzema is still here....
