    Division 1 matchday 10 results:
    Paris SG - Juvisy: 3-0 ; Delie 3x
    Albi - Saint-Etienne: 0-0
    Bordeaux - Rodez: 0-2 ; Noiran 2x
    Guingamp - Soyaux: 0-0
    O. Marseille - Metz: 3-0 ; Bretigny, Pizzala, Godart (o.g)
    O. Lyon - Montpellier: 2-1 ; Le Sommer, Abily / Dekker

    League table:

    Goalscorers:
    1) Le Sommer (ol) 11 goals
    2) Hegerberg (ol) 9 goals
    3) Delie (psg), Jakobsson (mhsc) 8 goals
    5) Abily (ol) 7 goals
    6) Amani (gui), Bourgouin (soy), Catala (juv)

    My recap:
A Delie s' hattrick gave PSG the victory over Juvisy officially ending D1F's big four as Thiney and co. are clearly not on the same level than the three best teams in France anymore....but the match of the day was certainly OL vs MHSC.
Lyon did well in the first half, dominating possession and Abily scored a great free kick, but since then the team was unrecognizable, players unwilling to make any effort without the ball, conceading a goal due to a very stupid mistake from Renard......Sincerely if they play so superficialy against Paris, away next Saturday, they'll be defeated.

    Others news:
Jean-Michel Aulas has publicly stated that OL is working hard to sign Alex Morgan but the biggest obstacle is the American federation......Heath and Horan cases:whistling:.....OL has also offered Wendie Reanrd a new five years contract but she is also evaluating concrete offers received from USA and England teams.
Anouk Dekker renewed with Montpellier for two additional seasons, while American right winger Maddy Krauser has left Soyaux after two months moving back to California.
Guingamp recruited ex-enfant prodige Lea Le Garrec, 23 years old AM/ST, an extremely talented and technically gifted player, Lea was considered a prodigy but at PSG her private life....relationaship problems with ex boyfriend and current France male NT member Alphonse Areola, made her lose passion for the game........After spending some seasons at Saint-Malo in D2, she's back on the top of her game, if she is rightly motivated as she's claiming to be she could seriously ends up as full international by the end of the season....she's already within France B group and won the military world cup last summer.
They signed her for four years and a half, reinforcing quite a lot their team which is already having an excellent season, she'll be the fourth full professional in the club...the others three are captain Amani and probably the two Nigerians Oparanozie and Nwabuoku.

MHSC disappointed me on the day, they very defensive as expected, but could have attacked a little more as Lyon were not as good as they can be. You could feel their fear of conceding another goal throughout the whole game.

To be fair, they gave two stupid goals early in the game, a great free-kick from Abily from an uneeded foul from Dekker, and a header from Le Somemr where Karchaoui forgot that she was a defender and marking is a basic of the job. As mentioned Renard gave away the ball really badly for the MHSC goal and it seems she is doing those more and more often these days.

    Matchday 10 highlights:

Best goal is Sandrine "bretigoal" Bretigny wonderful lob outside of the penalty box at 0:30 ,great to see Sandrine back at her best after being criticized by OM fans, speical mention to Camille Abily free kick which is her trademark but I'm also happy for Rodez's Clara Noiran, a player I always appreciated and she's finally showing her talent in D1F with this brace.

Many transfers rumors circulating lately, if the only official so far is Lea Le Garrec to Guingamp, D1F may see a bunch of stars/superstars invading the league since January. Not only Alex Morgan's saga at Josephine Henning having a second medica at OL, other players are announced spending time in France during this Christams period....you know do some shopping and signing contracts, the typical stuff;)....indeed Crystal Dunn, Kadeisha Buchanan, Ashley Lawrence are all "visiting" France having a sudden desire to see Paris Christmas lights ;)......imho Henning and Morgan deal are done (OL), Buchanan and her bff Lawrence done (PSG) but Dunn (?) no idea but Paris needs her more than Lyon but why not MHSC ?....Anyway, Amandine Henry has basically been confirmed by Lair for three months at PSG and Stina Blackstenius's agent say her client will likely stay in Sweden or sign for one of France two giants.

Quite funny the 1-0 scoreline is the only way for PSG to beat OL. It happenes twice before in the League and in Champions League.

Same format OL miss chances after chances and PSG manages to put one away and win.

January 2014 at Gerland, the press box was quite empty. The PSG video analyst Damien jumped for joy in front of us.
It was two days before Megan Rapinoe announced her return to the USA after leaving Lyon.

Wosoccerzone was there and we ended up in a local bar next to Gerland with the US winger having a few drinks and we went back to our hotel late that night and most of the PSG coaching staff and players were there in the lobby. Had a nice chat with Farid and Christophe.

    6) Amani (gui), Bourgouin (soy), Catala (juv) 6 goals

    My recap:
Paris Saint-Germain clearly deserved to win Saturday against Lyon, despite OL dominating during all game basically, their offensive players weren't in a great day wasting too many opportunities ....and football is an easy rule game where those who can't score hardly win games....We all knew just a single goal from PSG would had won the game, fans knew it, players knew it, coaches knew it with Lair actualy talking about that all week long...urging his players to be focus and seize the moment thing they did remarkably well with Marie-Laure Delie in super form , four goals in two matches.
Congrats also to OM in an open winning streak, third win a row after beating ASSE, the team gained only 2 points before. And that's all folks for French football in 2016, see you in 2017:thumbsup:.

But the big question is what will happen to Servando ??

It has been speculated on US threads that the fact that Henning and Buchanan have probably been signed by OL could not only confirm that Renard is headed to NWSL, but could also mean that OL could waive Kumagai and not extend her contract beyond 2017 (basically, the younger Henning-Buchanan CB duo would replace the Renard-Kumagai CB duo).
What do you think about it? Any news about Kumagai's contract? :cautious:

Kumagai and Renard's situation are quite strange indeed both are considered fundamental for Aulas and Precheur so if they choose to leave it would be their decision not Lyon's....but did they want to stay at OL?...Not quite sure.
Saki keep on having her one year extension contract which could only mean "I'm gonna see if I'm still interested in playing here at the end of the season..."....is her willing to sign one year at time so I guess she wants to keep her option open once she's done with winning at Lyon it would be easier to leave and she already won everything there.....
Auals said in an interview not long ago that she offered Renard the best deal a player ever had, it was before signing Morgan, imo Lyon probably offered her something around 20 000 € per month.....but she didn't sign yet and even in this case everything depend on her, just like Kumagai she's probably keeping all her option open in case she wants to leave. Wendie has been in OL first team since she was 16 years old, she's the only player who won every trophy there so I don't think her motivation still that high again.....she knows if she signs that contract she'll spend the rest of her career at OL, if she doesn't she could live new adventure/challenge and she's a great competitor........not an easy decision but she could end up at PSG.
Anyway, I don't think Henning has been recruited to replace Saki or Wendie, to be honest I'm not even sure she could still play at the higher level (she had two medical test at OL so neither them are sure....) sorry for her as she was a top player but her injuries are worrying, sincerely I can't understand why they recruit her but OL sometimes has these incomprehensible signing like Ohno or third goalie Nayler who ends up playing with the reserve...
Corine Petit also has her contract expiring in July so Lyon only have Mbock as CB under contract after 07/17.....but as I said long ago Precheur likes the two young Julie (Marichaud and Piga) who regularly train with the first team, he could give them some game time sooner or later.

both me & batfink think Henning's performance on the GE NT is atrociously bad, and I've seen enough of her at Arsenal to feel that's she's rather slow. That's why I'm surprised that OL would want her? I've recommended(on the BUND threat) that Wolfsburg should try and get Renard and turn her into a central fwd, thus using her excellent headers since that team has such a strong cross kicking game from the wings. The Wolfies have signed Pernile Harder instead, which is an excellent signing, though they got several AM's all ready and didn't really get anywhere with the similar Ramona Bachmann.

How do you judge newbie Marozsan's performance vs Necib of yesteryear? Is she better or worse? I think this well could determine who's going to win the CL this year

Just watched PSG - OL."kate"&Paredes&Diallo&Geyoro have an excellent game, and Cruz still keep very high level. The absence of some important players(Boulleau,Katoto,Erika) weaked the power of PSG to a certain extent. With the victory of this crucial match,PSG have almost get a next-season CL's ticket. This will be the 4th consecutive years qualifing for CL for PSG.

With the return of some injuries and the joining of Henry&Lawrence,Psg will be more competive than now.Looking forward to enjoying PSG vs. BayernMunich in March next year.

there's rumor that PSG has also signed Crystal Dunn, so there's probably more to look forward to see them play than even Lyon. Just wish they can get a better stadium or one that is more camera friendly. The poor or low camera angles in the PSG/Lyon match made it somewhat hard to watch

btw......in order to counter them in the CL, Bayern Munich is interested in Kheira Hamraoui(currently with Lyon), not sure if they've singed her yet though

The recent noises from PSG do not really mention Dunn, we know she is there on holidays atm but she might touring Europe looking for an opportunity.

Stina Blackstenius and Janice Cayman join Montpellier, who needed attacking reinforcements to try to beat PSG and OL.

PSG: Patrice Lair ofter use 3-5-2 .regular rotation players include

    ------------ ------------- "Kate" (or Geurts)

    Georges------------Erika(or Geyoro) ------------Paredes

Delannoy------ Diallo(or Geyoro)--------Cruz------- Boulleau( or Perisset eve or Morroni)

    --------------------------- Vero(or Cruz)

    Cristiane --------------------------------------Delie( or Katoto)

imo, Lawrence will be the RM position.Dunn will be not necessary for PSG,because Dunn has the overlap position with Lawsrence.

Kheira Hamraoui is incompatible with OL in style. Her playing time is also far not engugh this season.

    France new El Dorado.
D1F is having the most impressive transfer window of its modern history, not only Aulas and his "wishing" but also PSG and Montpellier ambition and willingness to put very significant amount of money in the market are changing the way transfers are done in women football probably forever.
The coming of superstars like Morgan, Buchanan and soon to be Blackstenius, Lawrence are the proof of D1F incredible growth in these last seasons..... it will be hard for the rest to cope (France and abroad) with the three big clubs but some (even in D2) are recruiting intelligently which could actually be more effective on a long term than some WTF!! signing from the richest ones (Henning to OL and Cayman to MHSC....)
