There's only three good things to have ever come out of Dallas: St. Vincent Annie Clark and St. Vincent F*C* Dallas is not one of them. Game: Saturday July 14th, 7:00PM TV: IDK, got a Chromecast? Online: ESPN+, or that one site Ke1n linked to
The Fire have lost two in a row, giving up 7 goals in the process. Their two opponents had, at the start of each game, virtually identical records as the Fire. After the games...not so much. They were completely outplayed in Vancouver, before an "out of nowhere" goal by Tony frickin' Tchani made the score look a bit more respectable. They were decimated by Philadelphia on Wednesday, in what was probably the most exciting (yet, ultimately, infuriating) game at Toyota Park in a while. The Fire's "big three" of Nikolic, Katai and Schweinsteiger all scored, but defensive lapses and stupidity by Sanchez in goal spelled doom again. So, now, the Fire have the opportunity to take on F_C_ Dallas. Dallas are top of the Western Conference (third overall) Dallas are unbeaten at home. Dallas have a +7 goal difference. The Fire actually have 2 wins on the road this season. The Fire are in 8th place in the East (16th overall). The Fire have a -6 goal differential. The Fire have actually scored 4 more goals than Dallas, but have given up a shameful 17 more goals. The Fire have a hideous team GAA of 1.9 (38 goals from 20 games). Dallas' is at 1.16 (21 goals from 18 games). Dallas have no one in the top-20 in scoring. They only have two players with more than 2 goals (Lamah with 7 and Urriti with 6). The Fire have two in the top-10 in Nikolic and Katai. A good game tonight and both could be in double figures. This could be high scoring game, like we have had this week, (optimistically) perhaps, a 3-3 draw. or It could be a dull, dull trudge, with F_C_ Dallas managing a 1-0 or 2-0 win. Lose or draw, we can probably count on Paunovic inexplicably criticizing Katai after the game.
Watch TV channel is it on? With a win or tie we win a trophy. That is still a thing, at least our FO thinks it is "renew Brimstone series". https://www.chicago-fire.com/post/2...las-renew-brimstone-cup-series-saturday-night I'll check back around 8:00pm (halftime) to see how much we are losing by or maybe we will be winning (0-0, 1-1).
What a line-up! Gordon Johnson---bakaro---collier Tchani-----Adams Vincent-Campbell- Kap-Conner Sanchez
That is not real. Please tell me that is not real. Oh, crap. It is real. Even with Johnson receiving the chance to play, that could be the worst Chicago Fire Line-Up ever. McCarty and Schweinsteiger do not even make the bench for tonight's game. Melted rubber dick and then remolded into plastic flip-flops currently being worn by a fat New Jersey man in Florida line-up.
Well, there are only a few individuals in the crowd. Still better to listen to individuals talking in the crowd than listen to Danhole Kelly and Frank Klopas. The kids are chanting: "Dal-las Re-ject" clap-clap-clapclapclap at Richard Sanchez Yes, folks in Dallas, we chant the same f*cking thing at Richard Sanchez.
It is 96 degrees (feels like 101) at the moment in Dallas. No wonder Schweinsteiger and Dax are not playing. That is dangerous heat for someone at Bastian's age and creaky joints*. As for McCarty, we all know that gingers can't take any heat and the sun is still out in Dallas. *Yes, of course, Alan f'n Gordan is several years older than Bastian and he is out there, but I don't give a crap about Gordon's age or creaky joints. Maybe it will be the end of Alan Gordon with the Fire.
