Of course they would. We know better. Niko should have had his own hat trick last night. Great game to muff several great chances.

If we are winning 4-0 I don't care if people do the Charleston while whistling dixie in the stands.

It is time to have fun!

    That would be something!

However, I would draw the line at Dixie!

I thought MLS was all about stamping out racism.

Just saw the Lampson play, probably wouldn't of changed the out come of the game, but how the hell did the ref and the AR miss that? I bet once disciplinary committee sees it he'll be suspended for the next game.

Anyone want to start a transportation fund for guapo? Like how much would it cost for us to buy him a used honda accord and gas? Section 8 is so much better with him.

Am I missing something? My brain went on autopilot after the first goal. Was like "yep this is gonna be a classic beatdown" and just kinda zoned out and admired the "scenery". Summer games and winning sure bring out some better looking fans.

Usually 1.5 / 1.6 PPG is comfortable for the playoffs & 2 PPG pretty much assures you being the Support's Shield Winner or Runner Up

Jones may be playing for the 8th best team in the West, but he is a very good left back.

I figured the crowd would be pretty large when I got to STH parking lot and it was already over 1/2 full an hour before game time. Perfect game conditions comfortable - not hot or humid.

It was a terrific game to watch as the Fire played lovely soccer throughout. It could have easily been 9-0. The team clearly dominated Orlando which is a decent MLS side. The first goal was a great team play goal. Solignac is found on a run down the right wing. Solignac finds Schweini just outside the corner of the penalty area as Polster overlaps. Schweini curls a perfect pass to Polster and Polster finds Accam who makes an outrageous finish. What a beauty all round. Another inch perfect Schweinsteger long ball found Accam making a perfectly timed run for the second goal.

I'm also continually amazed by how this team wins so many balls during the course of play. Solignac and Deleeuw are a big part of that. But the main spring of the team is clearly the Dax-Basti duo that help dominate the mid field. Kappelhof and Joao Meira are proving to be a good CB duo also.

Right now, this team is clearly one of the best teams in MLS. The only worry is that this is June and the playoffs aren't until October. Can the team sustain this level of play throughout, or, at least, peak back to this level when the play offs begin?

In the meantime, I'm just going to sit back and enjoy watching this team play. It's so reminiscent of the early Fire teams. It's back to where we should be on a pretty regular basis.

I believe his father played for the Sting.

How was the 'security' line? More reactionary theater causing stupid lines?

Close, Aleks Mihailovic played two seasons in NASL, for the Jacksonville Tea Men and the Washington Diplomats, but not the Sting.

He has been involved in youth soccer development for most of his career.

No clue. I went in with the Match Crew. Match Crew got stopped for no reason too, but it was just because the guy was new.
