The Fire are currently are on 31 points, ONE POINT behind Toronto for the Supporters Shield race at the half way point of the season. The Fire had 31 points in all of 2016, so a draw or a win tomorrow and the Fire exceed the point total from 2016. What a difference signing good players make? Orlando is sitting in 4th place, 5 points behind the Fire. A Fire loss and the race tightens up considerably. The Fire will be looking for revenge for the 0-0 draw on June 4th which saw the Fire unable (or unwilling) to breakdown a 9-man Orlando FC team, despite the Fire being the recipients of some of the worst officiating in MLS history. I called a WW II air museum in Orlando.(Kissimmee. Same meth dealer) I asked them in they have a P-38. I love P-38s. Yes, they told me. So I went there. After paying my admission I asked to see the P-38. The guy walked me out to a hanger, opened the door, and pointed at a big ball of foil in the corner. Apparently someone flipped their P-38 on takeoff. Thats how I think of Orlando and their soccer team. That and Jai alai. Jai alai is cool.

I though Jai alai was more Tampa and Miami, as opposed to Orlando (but I never really spent much time in Orlando, fortunately). When I was kid visiting my grandparents in Largo, FL, my "step-"grandfather was big into betting on jai alai.
