Nelson just can't get himself to fire him because a part of him absolutely loves him. I wonder if it's Nelson's inability to admit he made a mistake and he's being a stubborn dumbass all over again. It has at least been discussed, but it means ******** all if you don't fire him after all of these terrible results.
At this point, it is on Paunovic. Hauptman (well, MLS and Mansueto) have put up the money. Rodriguez has signed some excellent players...offensively. Paunovic cannot manage the players. He had our most dangerous player on the bench and at least three players starting out of position. He is an awful, awful coach. They are all to blame, of course.
