Osorio should’ve inverted the wingers. Pero era un gran pendejo. Anyways Vela will not get the space and time he’s getting used to in the MLS. Let’s forget and move on from him.

The guy had a good showing the last time he played for Mexico and now he shouldn't get another chance to play for Mexico because he plays for MLS?What a shitty mentality

Doesn’t matter.... he still has Talent ( More talent and creativity, than most, if not; all our attackers)

And if he was in Europe, I’m sure he’d do the same

I think this is false, if MLS offers anything to our players is better physical training which helps with speed and strength. Remember Cuah? MLS really helped his stamina, as they play lots of long balls and more physical since they aren't as technical. But of course it is up to the player

A 34+ Cuah compared to a 29 yr old vela. Vela was much quicker while playing in Spain. Plus his decision making will keep getting slower due to the amount of space and time he’s given in the MLS. Hell, look at the goals he’s scoring in the MLS. No way that’s happening on the international level.

We will agree to disagree. Do I like our players in MLS, absolutely not, am I ignorant enough to push players aside just cause they play in MLS, absolutely not. Vela talent today in MLS is still a top player for us. In 6 months maybe that changes, but today still should get call ups.

It really doesn't matter what league he plays in. He played well for Mexico in the world cup and he deserves another shot. He should keep playing for Mexico if he deserves it, stop playing when he doesn't Why is this so hard to understand?

    Doesn't matter.

You saw what he did in the WC. He scored a penalty and had a whole bunch "casi" and "ya merito" moments. All of those great left footed shots he buries in the MLS- he tried some and shit the bed.

I wouldn't be so mad if he plays and does well- but we all know he won't do shit in a WC.

What WC were you watching because he played well in the WC. He was literally the best attacker against Brazil

I don't think anyone is assuming he's going to score 2-3 goals a game for Mexico because he's scoring in MLS but the guy did play well for Mexico in every game outside of sweden.

    Otro pendejo

Sadly, Lozano almost has as many goals as Vela does for the NT.

Velas NT goals come mostly against teams like Guatemala, etc... Save goals against Holland and Italy in friendlies of course

Damn, the MLS stigma really getting to some of you. If Vela is playing well I say keep calling him up...his playmaking quality is a nice asset to have.
