Despite what Jurgen and the fans may want relegation in MLS is not going to happen.

I'm pretty sure a big chunk of Premier League teams don't even want it in England.

If you only have to buy your way into a league then Sheffield United might be a EPL club every year.

No way $100m+ buy in NYCFC is getting relegated in the next 20-50 years. Yeah, thanks for the cash now ******** off to NASL with your 12 fans. Nope.

It'd be about 15 games before the casuals here knew the Fire were relegated. We could just call the season "Every games a US Open Cup game"
    Could be fun.

Why do you assume a relegation would be to the NASL?

The only relegation I could see from MLS would be to MLS AHD, a second tier of the single entity structure.

(AHD stands for Andrew Hauptman Division.)
