I meant to reply to this before but Reuben, you’ve got it wrong. Start Mo over Dax. Schweinsteiger still has plenty to offer as long as he’s got fresh legs out there with him. Marcello is going to help. It appears he has pace and good decision making abilities. Dax is going to be grabbing a lot of people as they run past him this season.
Schweinstieger'swhole game he brought to the Fire is possession. He doesn't need to be fast to do that. He rolls a shoulder and shields the ball and finds his pass. I've only seen one errant pass from him the first couple games. Dude plays with his brain, not his legs at this point in his carreer and can read the game much better than most. He's definitely not a liability.
