Re: Fire-metros hall of fame game on FSW noon monday

Bretos and Hopkins are a pair of muppets. I fall asleep listening to them drone on about nothing all the time. Bretos might be decent on a news or highlights show, but he's awful in a live game situation. His enthusiasm is commendable, but he has to learn how to make it work in a broadcast....

the fire deserve to be leading right now. Bucky and Capano have the skillz man.. those guys should see more playing time next year, with no doubt.

I wonder if Boucicout just needed some time to come up to match fitness? at least for Dave's standards.

Bucky - Thiago - Mapp - Armas - Marsch would be a heck of a midfield next season, with Capano first alternate.

we should put Zach in for the second half!

Who is Thiago Gaucho? Is there a short bio of him anywhere?

FWIW, the right back is the only non-roster Metro on the field for us. I think I heard Max call him "Ryan O'Neil", so it's sort of an "insert your own punchline here" type situation. I honestly know nothing about him.

If Capano's not a starter next year, I'll be very surprised.

Search this forum or the ones at www.section8chicago.com for info on Thiago Gaucho. He's a young brazillian who we've been trial-ing for a while.

I figured you only had one non-roster guy when I got the other 10 listed above. ;)

    Second-half changes when I get a chance.

    One is: THORNTON IN GOAL!

He might just be able too. Of course, it would help if he'd grow a few inches. And isn't Peter Wilt looking for "the new Nowak" in the off-season as well?

The field mics and PA announcer are drowning out most of Bretos' "commentary".
