I thought this might be of interest to those of you out there who are looking for some Fiorentina merchandise. It's certainly not easy to come by if you're outside of Italy, though there are a few options. Aside from the official store of course, there are some alternatives..... One interesting option is Cafepress, where there are some pretty cool items. Giglio Old badge Another former badge Current badge Another store that has interesting stuff is ViolaPoint. Now keep in mind shipping costs. ViolaPoint Viola Fansite fiorentina.it has some merchandise as well, and I own one of the Vespa helmets from there - it's fantastic. Fiorentina.it Shop As I run across others I'll post them here, but please feel free to add to the list.
Fiorentina Merchandise Sometimes we have people asking about the best place to get a shirt or whatever so I thought we could put that stuff here. I don't know if any of you have seen the following on ViolaChannel. 2-disc set. Second one released this week. Something to keep an eye on ebay.it for. "Fiorentina un sogno viola" Firenze, 18.09.2008 Due dvd in edicola con la GAzzetta dello Sport ACF Fiorentina e La Gazzetta dello Sport celebrano con due speciali dvd i successi dell’ultima stagione e la corsa vincente verso il ritorno in Champions League. Nel resto d’Italia sarà possibile richiedere i dvd di “Fiorentina, un sogno viola” rivolgendosi al proprio edicolante di fiducia.
Re: Fiorentina Merchandise Last year they had an 11 (?) dvd set on the history of Fiorentina. As the first one was for free (you only payed the paper) I picked it up, but wasn't impressed. The part on history from the early days to the first Scudetto was nice but too short, while the fillers were compilations of best goals and a report on Fiorentina's goalkeepers.
Re: Fiorentina Merchandise You were unimpressed with the first one of this set or with the first one of the 11-disc set?
Re: Fiorentina Merchandise Here's a thread from way back at the start of this forum on the same topic, with some other sites for "gearing up." https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=659707
Re: Fiorentina Merchandise I bought the second DVD. I haven't had the possibility to check it out yet, but it should be on this season and especially the new players, while the first DVD (which I don't have and won't have) should focus on last season. I'll give it a look. Then the first who comes visit Florence from the US gets it for free. A good reason to go and book your flight!
Fio.it appears to be opening up a store near the stadium, at in via S. Gervasio 9r. this Saturday 6 Dicembre. Below is a map to the location. I know a few of you are in or near Firenze, or may be travelling there. http://www.fiorentina.it/nato_viola2.asp
The two existing merchandise threads have been merged, and stickied. I figure this is a nice resource to have at the top of the page. Call it spring cleaning.....
I figure this is the best place to put this in case soeone wants to get a shirt with a player's number on it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, guys help me out, I need to find a soccer store in Toronto that has a good variety of jerseys, so there's a chance I can get a Viola one!?
Doesn't look like it...I searched for like 30 minutes, can't find anything. You said you have some Torontonian friends? Can you ask them and get back to me by Saturday morning because I'll be heading into and around Toronto then .. Thanks for your help though Nicky!
Okay thanks, I finally got ahold one of my friends that knows everything there is to know about soccer stores, etc. So the store he told me about seems to be the store that will have La Viola merchandise! But you can still tell me what your other friend says, just for reassurance.
I forgot to update you all on jersey adventure; so I went to two shops and both were promising and positive but I don't have the jersey yet. One told me Lotto Canada does not import jersey's anymore! Meaning no Fiorentina, no Palermo, not Lotto Jerseys! But they did say they can bring them in straight from Europe or Italy but it would cost an extra $20-30. I'm fine with that though. The other said that they'll have the jersey's by the end of September so I'm going back to both on my birthday (Sept 26)! Hopefully I'll have a nice new birthday present! Oh and the one that said it'll cost more, they had Fiorentina hats! The purple one with the Logo in the front, I was going to buy it but I had no money on me.
I found this online... Email Lotto (email@lottosport.com) and ask if anyone in NY is carrying Fiorentina stuff.
I would but to be honest, a drive to NY is just not worth it. 10 hour if I want to get all the way to NYC. Thanks though! I'm confident that one of these two stores I visited will get me the jersey!
This may be a bit off topic, but I have a question related to ticket sales at Fiorentina. We have a late arrival coming into Firenze on friday the 15th of april. On the website of Fiorentina it states that their service department will be closed from friday 18:30 to monday morning. Is it possible to buy tickets for the Fiorentina - Juve match elsewhere in town? Or even better, is it possible to get tickets in the Internet, before we fly into Florence?
