I spend 4 years waiting for the World cup and then I have the worst time ever every time Argentina plays. I almost dont wanna watch it tomorrow. To avoid the heart attack.

So depressed that there is no Ceslo, Pavon or Armani

The betting odds have the lone droppig for Croatia to win, let’s see what happens

The game feels like a final.
A loss and we are done for

Same here. Very dissapointed about not playing Lo Celso. I think he’s the most complete midfielder Argentina has. Hopefully Sampaoli realizes his importance at some point.

Hu? Where are you getting your info for the betting odds? Croatia are currently at 3.90, meaning if you put down a 100, you get 390 back, Argentina is at 2.15, meaning 100 gets you 215 back, and a draw is at 3.30. I've looked at them the last couple of days and the line hasn't moved a great deal, in fact, if I am not mistaken, our odds have gotten better. The bookies clearly give us the edge.

It'll be 2am in mine, but I am now used to 4.5 hours of sleep since the start of the WC.

So freaking nervous, Argentina has too good a team not to get out of this round.

Which site you recommend for betting? I'll put $300 on Argentina.

Those odds are from BET 365. If you go to VegasInsider, there are other odds from other Casinos, which aren't nowhere as favorable. For example, Wynn is giving -110, which is basically even money.

I was using TheScore app that had Argentina at 1.98 to win the match and now they’re down to 2.1

Not a huge deal and hopefully we get the win tomorrow

Glad to See biglia on the bench.
I guess he will come on when we really need a goal...

You mean when Croatia need a goal... Biglia would be willing to help like he did by losing the ball against Iceland.

Who do you guys think the subs will be? Surely has to be Dybala, Pavon and Lo Celso right? My gut is saying that Samp will do something like Banega, Di Maria and Higuain tho

Assuming we're doing sub because we struggle to score, then Dybala & Pavon should come in.

If its Higuain, Di Maria & Banega, I'll prepare myself to watch for Copa 2019, we are probably will out early then.

Once we get rid of most of the 05-07 players, the NT will be exciting again.

Yeah, I was really hoping for Celso and Pavon, to inject some pace into the team. Croatia are a old and slow team, so I thought we might look to exploit that. I think anything other than a win tonight then we are done for.

Im scared that if Argentina crashes out of the group stages, Messi will call it quits for real this time. He did say whether he continues will depend on the results of this WC. The best result at this point if Argentina doesn't win the WC is only Messi and Aguero from that generation stays to lead the young guys for Copa 2019. Would be a very winnable tournament

Messi said like 2 months ago that, realisticly, they're aiming to reach the last 4 at very least. If they fail to reach semi, then Messi most likely will retire.

If they do get to semi, I believe only Messi & Aguero will stay in NT. Messi can simply skip most of the qualifer games & ignores all friendlies until we're close to the next WC. Aguero probably will still there at least till next year Copa.

However, we have yet to play the second game , even a draw doesnt mean elimination, so I will keep my head high and having faith on the NT. Especially with Rojo , Di Maria & Biglia out from starting place.

I ve been up since 4 am cause my baby decided he wasn't sleeping no longer, so we ve been up since then. Maybe he can feel the anxiety in the air?

Good news is that as soon as he woke up he started screaming "goaaal goaaaaal", LOL, maybe this means we will score.

Zero hope here, to be honest.

We can still qualify if we draw, but will need to beat Nigeria by bigger margin to guarentee a better goal difference. Assuming Iceland beat Nigeria and then they draw Croatia.

In that case, we probably ended up failing to beat Nigeria as well..

I believe we will win 3-1 (Messi, Aguero , some midfielder or defender goal) , but the reality could be the 1-3. But if those changes made are true (Di Maria, Biglia , Rojo), then I believe we will win.
