Heh, Ecuador losing to Venezuela in Quito makes me laugh for some reason.

Sepp Blatter will say that Venezuela only won because of the high altitude.

Well it probably did help that 40+ meter free kick carry a little farther and beat the goalie:)

Holy crap, I just saw that goal. I can only make that kind of goal in winning eleven when I customize an all 99 stat player to go against a 4'6" goalie.

    I can't wait!

    Anyone got predictions?

I haven't been following all the teams very closely so some of these might come out of mid air.

Uruguay - had a couple of good results from a mini tour of Europe against Norway and Turkey (I think).
Venezuela - beat Brazil in Boston for their first ever win against Brasil. But got murdered by Colombia in a friendly and beat Netherlands Antilies only 1-0.

    Uruguay 2 - Venezuela 2

Peru - got hammered by Mexico after Mexico got hammered by Argentina.
Colombia - lost a couple of lackluster friendlies in Europe.

    Peru 1 - Colombia 3

Paraguay - played Kirin cup in Japan, which got almost no coverage. Tied France 0-0 in a friendly.
Brazil - looked horrible in two friendlies here in US, but that doesn't mean jack cuz when they need to win they usually find a way to.

    Paraguay 1 - Brazil 0

Argentina - looked solid against Mexico...not so great against USA. Same as Brazil though...and they we are at home.
Ecuador - read in an Argentinian paper that they lost to a club team from Ecuador 2-1 and the fans boo'd them off the pitch. Have looked horendous in quals except against lowly Peru

    Argentina 3 - Ecuador 0

Bolivia - ? Dead last in quals. Tied Colombia in the altitude of La Paz
Chile - ?? Steaky in quals.

    Bolivia 1 - Chile 1

Thats all I got. Keep in mind its all opinion and some of the choices didn't have much to go on. If anyone has good info to add or background on what the teams have been up to lately, please share.
