Liverpool have finally done it. After six European titles they finally rule the world. A big congrats to Flamengo who battled greatly. I truly hope we get to see another such strong Libertadores winner next year for the final edition of the current format.
Flamengo must have been in dreamland taking it to extra time and probably thinking they were going to do us on penalties because that's the only way they could have won
They could have won without being on penalties. Just like Sao Paulo did in 2005. As Cruyff said: "I've never seen a bag of money win a game."
We lost but I'm very proud of how Flamengo fought today. Unfortunately the gap between Europe and South American clubs is too big nowadays. Congrats Liverpool!

Too bad it didn't for Tuca vs Seattle in the CCL years ago. The probability for his risk was in his favor, but it didn't work out. You just never know in football. Good luck for Turco, bad for Tuca.
