I packed Ronaldo 2 years ago. Complete and utter garbage with a few sprinkles on top since then. Enjoy it while it lasts man.

 

My current "snagged some great prices" team.

I hate wingers after the patch though. They feel so useless. In my formation it's like I have 3 strikers. I might upgrade Kroos to TOTY modric or upgrade Ramos to TOTY. Suarez is great in this game. Only striker I've used after a lot of matches that still scores more goals than he plays.

 

That is really similar.

Have you tried the 433(4) post patch? It's pretty great, if you have a fantastic striker and CAM. I used Hagi and SIF Aubameyang and they each averaged a goal a game. SIF Auba is basically as good as Weah.

The team above was only for last night, and I sold IF Ron for a 150k profit overnight. Wait till you see the team I have in mind, it's pretty ridiculous.

 

I've literally only have success this fifa with the 4-3-1-2 and 4-3-2-1. Every other formation I am terrible. I also struggle with pacey strikers. It's like my playing style has done a complete 180 since fifa 15.

I gotta get that modric. Seems like a perfect all around player who fits perfectly in my team.

Hagi is amazing. Perfect attacking mid in my opinion. 5 star weak foot, and he has a great shot. I loved using him, but I didn't like him defensively in a 3 mid formation.

I want that Godin so bad. 95 defending and 90 physical?! But I have no idea how to get him into my team! He links with no one. I was thinking of going like this:

 

Godin is at 8 chem for me. I am thinking about switching him for IF Naldo, who I used and is really great.

 

I just can't use a player if he isn't on 9 or 10 chem. It messes with my brain.

 

Does it make THAT much of a difference? How about the difference between guys having a 10 chemistry, but adding in others that bring the lines to green? Me too...OCD'ness messses wtih my head. lol

 

I read a while back that there is a pretty big difference. Like players on full chem get a stats boost or something like that. Plus it's a definite mental thing for me. Say Godin misses a tackle or does a bad pass, then I would wonder if that was a chemistry issue or just me.

 

4IF Godin and TIF Higuain are so incredibly cheap, love it.

Just used 4IF Godin and TOTY modric. My god they are amazing. Modric feels like Roberto Carlos. He is so silky smooth and bangs out amazing goals each match for me. Godin is the ball gobbler. 4 matches in the cup with no goals conceded.

 

My dilemma is I have two great strikers, Aguero and IF Costa, but I cannot for the life of me use two striker formations.

 

4-3-1-2 is your friend. Seriously it's a great formation especially if you do team pressing. If you're good at defending with full backs, then you're golden.

 

I need to make some coins so I have been playing the draft. I entered three times with coins, so it cost me 45k. I won it all three times, and I somehow still came out negative. Crazy how winning the draft still doesn't guarantee you'll make your entry fee back. My prizes from all three tournaments were two 50k packs, one 35k pack, two 15k packs, and one 7.5k pack. Pretty tame prizes as well if you ask me. Best pull was 79 rated Joaozinho. So happy with those results....

 

Investing during TOTY has been great per usual, flipped FIF Godin and SIF Koscielny for at least 50k profit.

 

Yea prices have risen quite a bit since the weekend. I am almost tempted to sell my team and just wait for prices to dip again.

 

Player prices keep rising. January upgrades are coming out in a week I believe and last year that caused a bit of a drop in prices. I also expect EA to change things up since they have been doing that this whole fifa, so we could see another decent dip in the fut economy. I am probably gonna sell friday or saturday, then hopefully buy back in a week or so. Worst case I just wait a little longer to rebuy.

 

I made 1.5 mil in just the value of my team going up, bought TOTY Ronaldo for 3.35, and just sold him for a 900K loss.

Put together this team, which is great obviously, but man it would be nice to have put that 900K in a safer place!


Everyone seems to play this formation now, btw.
