Barça have no players in danger of missing the second leg through bookings accumulation.
    (3 = suspension)

Fekir misses out for Lyon through yellow card suspension.
Lyon have no other players in danger of missing the second leg.

    21-man squad list

Ter Stegen, Iñaki Peña, Jokin Ezkieta
    S. Roberto, Semedo, Piqué, Umtiti, Lenglet, Murillo, Jordi Alba, Wague
    Rakitic, Sergio, Vidal, Aleñá, Coutinho
    Suárez, Messi, Dembélé, Malcom, Prince

Typically, Vermaelen has a minor injury and is excluded.
Umtiti got a the medical green light but I suspect he'll be left out.

For once, let's show some killer instinct and jump on these guys. Let's kill this tie in the 1st leg. They will be without Fekir and arguably one or two more starters.

This team is very dangerous in attack but porous on defense and they don't usually park the bus so goals can be gotten. Umtiti has been out for a while so I wouldn't play him because he might disrupt our defensive patterns which have shown some improvement in recent weeks. We have to keep them without the ball so no sloppy passing we saw against Valladolid please!

I would go with this lineup:
    MATS
    Semedo Pique Lenglet Alba
    Rakitic Busquets Vidal
    Dembele Messi Coutinho

Then bring on a fresh Suarez in the second half.

I would still go with Messi - Suarez - Dembele up front.

And yeah, please Semedo and no SR.

Checked the CL table, and just remembered Lyon's CL record. 1W and 5Ds. All home games were 2 x 2.

Seems pretty likely to be the lineup, though Roberto or Alena could start in place of Vidal:

So Roberto gets a start in midfield and hopefully Arturo Vidal won't do angry any social media posts about not starting. Otherwise as expected (and as pictured above in prior post, just add Roberto where Vidal was).

SR as mid doesn't bother them as much as FB. Vidal wasn't that great in the 1st half vs Valladolid but actually had a good 2nd half.

Come on guys. Show some killer instinct today! Won't be able to watch this one till tonight. Hope I'm not disappointed.

Barça bench: Iñaki Peña, Coutinho, Malcom, Murillo, Vidal, Umtiti & Aleñá

So the 2nd keeper from Barca B, Jokin Ezkieta, and the Barca B RB, Wague, to the stands, along with Prince. Umtiti is in the squad and it would be nice if he can get some PT towards the end of the game in his old stadium.

Vermaelen injured again, Cillessen still injured, Arthur too, and Rafinha out for the season. Samper no longer injured but not even in the 21 man travel squad.

well .. looks like Craperto is going to stink the midfield today not the defense then our genius coach will probably move him to the rightback position in the second half and sub Semedo off with vidal/coutinho/alena ... a player who doesn't provide anything defensively or offensively in every single match gets to play and i'm really getting sick&tired of it , guess the LPB trolls are happy as usual and screaming with joy.

yeah, for similar reasons, if people can avoid mentioning the Liverpool x Bayern score in this thread that would be good.

Plenty of possession and touches in their penalty area but not enough bite. MOTM MATS so far.

Notice Rakitic plodding back like a 60 a day smoker after Dembele lost possession outside their box
