Which is a joke since Garber and the other asshole have consistently used the location of the Crew’s stadium as a primary reason for wanting to move the franchise to Texas.
I still believe the Crew are going to stay in Columbus thanks to the lawsuit. The only soccer stadium that Austin will have will be for the USL team that has already been announced.
Something to do with celebrating Schweinsteiger. It seems like a weird time to be out of league play for that long.
Dempsey retires from club and country effective immediately http://www.espn.com/soccer/united-s...ders-united-states-national-team?platform=amp
Fine with me. Takin' a Duece has never been a player that I have a had much affinity. I appreciate his accomplishments but really not sad to see him go.
I didn’t realize that the Disciplinary Committee has overturned 4 VAR-awarded red cards this season. Does anybody here keep track of that kind of information? I am interested in the circumstances that have warrant such.
The first three (and the one from last year) were all considered to be bad usage of video review. In other words, not clear and obvious. It's not that they're not potential reds, it's about establishing a standard for review.
Let me get this right: The VAR showed, probably clearly red card offenses. But the committee determined that the reviews should not have taken place? LOL Thar’s a bit like a judge deciding that security camera footage of a murder is not admissible as evidence because the camera’s purpose was to prevent theft.
Sigi has resigned from Los Galaxy and Kinnear is taking over. https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018...igning-la-galaxy-dominic-kinnear-taking-reins Don't know if this will extinguish the dumpster fire that is Los Galaxy this year or just throw more gas on the aforementioned marshmallow cooker. Either way, it's schadenfreude time! Bwahahahahahaha!
Maybe they will drive Ibra away and he will want to come to Utah based solely on the 6-2 shellacking we gave them.
I feel that strategy at least in name and pushed left when Cassar did. Pete never talks about it and I don't think DLH would shy away from a name if it fit.
Petke doesn't subscribe to "The Team is The Star", no. But he's not on the other end of the spectrum, either. If you watch the videos published by RSL he's very much a blue collar guy who asks the group to compete for one another and to work as a unit. The difference between he and Kreis is that he encourages freedom on the ball - especially from the front 4.
So. Should mlssoccer even bother with a goal of the week competition, or should they just do the right thing and give it to Ibra. That was amazing.
Not a single foul was called during the first half of the SJE/SKC game. First time in MLS history this has happened. It’s hard to believe SKC would be part of such a record.
