Great comeback in the second half. I am sure ESPN gamecast didnt do it justice!!

Definitely cheering for the team! Good Luck!

...maybe you can end Rafa Benitez's career with liverpool!!!

    Nevermind. He's already shot himself.

The way they're playing, Rafa's career is already over.

Congrats, guys! Soak up every single second of this. I'll be rooting for you to take the trophy. Your years of support have earned this. (If only because I would rather say my team lost to the eventual champions...)

    Simply awesome.

What odds could you have gotten at the beginning of the season that the last English team in Europe would be Fulham?

Your team was impressive although I was cheering vor HSV because of the UEFA ranking. The Whites showed passion and unity, it was a hard fought but fair match. I will support the Whites in the final, pick up that silverware!

Though it doesn't show in my profile of the clubs I support, I gotta admit that I have been following this club since MAF took over and hired Jean Tigana as manager. The way they won the old 1st Division Championship was amazing. If anyone saw them play that season, they would know what I'm talking about. That was in the 2000-2001 season. Now, 10 years later, they're safe from relegation in the Premier League, and in the final of the Europa League. Simply amazing!! What's even more amazing, is during that 2000-2001 season, Bobby Zamora was the leading scorer for Brighton & Hove Albion which played in the 3rd Division. Congrats FFC and MAF. Good luck in the final!!

Who would've thought back in July that it would come to this?

I ducked out of work yesterday to catch the 2nd half and am glad I did.

Tom W., you better come down with a cold on the 12th. I don't want to read about you sitting in a cubicle while Fulham is playing for some European hardware.

Whole hearted congratulations on last nights result. I don't think I've cheered another teams goal like I did last night when Gera scored the second. What a season he's having in Europe, by the way?

Shame Zamora was unable to impress more infront of Capello, but he was half fit at best and if current form is anything to go by, he should get a shot for England before the World Cup.

I hope you go on and beat Athletico Madrid in the final, now. It would be one of the most remarkable acheivements I will have ever seen in football during my lifetime.

    Here's hoping. Fingers crossed...........

Ps, Roy Hodgson for Manager of The Year, if you ask me. :)

    I get both. Excellent!

BTW, got a chance to watch the game last night. Fulham were clearly the better side, not just in the 2nd half, but for much of the 1st half after giving up that stellar set piece goal.

But the biggest thing I noticed though: The energy of the team completely changed when CD stepped onto the field. Guys started making the extra attacking run into space, closing down on Hamburg players in possession, and making that one extra incisive pass that opened up the defense.

They just burst into life. It was beautiful.

Congrats on the win guys. I'm disappointed that my team isn't in the final (obviously), but it will be cool to see Fulham playing in a major European final. Best of luck against Atletico.
