I know Dortmund is probably waiting until the winter break to fire Bosz, but it needs to happen now, they are in total free fall. Bremen played amazing today though to be fair.
Bosz sacked, replaced by Peter Stoger, recently fired himself from Koln. Just for the season, BVB probably going for Nagelsmann from Hoffenheim. And after the 4-4 draw between Dortmund and Schalke a few weeks back, Bundesliga keeps showing why (IMO) it's the most entertaining league in the world. Koln up 3-0 at home at halftime, but end up losing 4-3 to Freiburg. Unbelievable.
Bundesliga is second best in the world behind English Championship. Just so you know, best league in the world is wherever Hull is playing.
German football is at a crossroads http://www.dw.com/en/german-football-is-at-a-crossroads/a-41861145 Interesting article about a changing Bundesliga and tension with traditional fans.
Today's big story is obviously Hull advancing in the FA Cup but Barca bought some guy from Liverpool for a meager 192 million. This is getting silly.

Thought this was interesting. The Championship was the third most watched league in European football during last season. pic.twitter.com/uhSHVtOCcc— Football Away Days (@AwayDays_) January 17, 2018
With the games now being played on WatchESPN I've watched more Championship games than EPL games this season.
The Championship also has 24 teams playing 46 games each. Germany has 18 playing 34. La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue 1 have 20 playing 38. Just saying. It is interesting that a 2nd division league draws so well.
While I don't watch, I might say it's because the 2nd tier is more exciting with promotion on the line - especially if there's a small point spread at the top of the table.
http://www.espn.com/soccer/manchest...-diskerud-signs-contract-with-manchester-city Apparently, Mix's dad likes Manchester.
Um.... so did City do this as a favor for Umbro? If they aren't loaning him to an affiliate club, if they aren't planning on playing him, and they aren't even letting him train with the first team.... very odd. Has to be some sort of marketing gimmick for Umbro, and as it seems Umbro was the one to announce this... its just odd.
It's not just awful, it take awful to a whole new level. The Leeds logo was one of the classiest and iconic logos in the Prem, and now it's crap (edit; when they were in the Prem)
Looks like enough bitching about it got the Leeds FO to rethink this crest. They have to come up with something better.
It would be a decent logo for a t-shirt, or something like that to celebrate their fans. Main logo? No.
Looks like former US International Steve Cherundolo is a new assistant at VfB Stuttgart. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...acic-und-cherundolo-unterstuetzen-korkut.html
Won’t this be like the first time in his career that he’s not involved with Hannover? Ah, the days of a reliable US defender....
